Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy - 2012 Tony Awards

Amanda Seyfried shocked me at this year's Tony Awards, held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

She donned a slip-dress from the Givenchy Fall 2012 collection; the purple, beaded dress with thin shoulder straps came with the (orange?) belt.  

I think I was shocked as we're very used to seeing Amanda in sweet, pretty looks and this was bold and almost provocative, especially when her facial expression is taken into account.

She wore it with a ponytail, bright red lips, a red clutch and Fred Leighton jewels, along with the very popular Givenchy sandals.  I would have liked this dress better, had it been worn with a black blazer at a party, rather than a red carpet event.

Amanda Seyfried walked the red carpet at the LA premiere of her new movie, 'Gone' in a Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

As pretty and sweet as the tulle & pearl encrusted dress is, the pale pink colour washes Amanda out.

She completed the look with wavy hair and satin, ankle-strap Giuseppe Zannoti heels.

Emily Blunt In Marios Schwab - 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival

Emily Blunt wore a Marios Schwab Spring 2012 dress for the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival screening of her upcoming movie, 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen' in which she co-stars with Ewan McGregor.

Emily opted for the wonderful light pink dress with a lattice pattern throughout, and wore it with scarlet lips, a pewter clutch & heels.

Amanda Seyfried + Prabal Gurung = best combination ever.

The actress once again wore a Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 dress for the 8th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, held in NYC.

The white, halter-neck dress with a drop-waist, was laden with beautiful detail: sequins, feathers and crystals.

Amanda wore it with natural hair & glowing make-up as well as heels from the runway.

If you thought you'd seen the last of Amanda Seyfried or Marios Schwab Spring 2012 dresses, you thought wrong.

Amanda wore a dress from the collection with a familiar hairstyle and black pumps for another photocall for 'In Time' - this time, in Paris.

I understand if she wants to tone things down after a long promotional tour but I really hope we get to see another amazing look from her before it ends!

Amanda Seyfried continues her fabulous promo tour for 'In Time'.

In Madrid, for the movie's photocall, Amanda wore a Spring 2011 Michael Angel dress with a neat blowout, minimal make up and rich plum Lanvin pumps.

The abstract, digital print dress with an asymmetrical hemline looked fresh and clean - again, a perfect photocall outfit from Amanda.

Amanda Seyfried continues looking lovely on her 'In Time' promotional tour with Justin Timberlake.

 

For a photocall in Berlin, Amanda wore a simple royal blue Lyn Devon dress with side cutouts and a very on-trend below the knee hemline.

She smartly put on nude pumps to lengthen her legs as longer hemlines make one appear shorter.

A neat blowout and a light coral lipstick completed her daytime look.

Amanda Seyfried served up a surprise at the London premiere of 'In Time' last night.

She donned a beautifully blue short suit by H&M that had black accents, wearing it with a black button up.

Wavy hair, light make-up and black Sergio Rossi pumps were the finishing touches.

After seeing her wow in a Spring 2012 Prabal Gurung dress (click here), I was expecting another knockout but Amanda looks gorgeous anyway.

That colour is hard to pull off!

Amanda Seyfried returned to the red rug after long for the premiere of her new movie called 'In Time', looking fantastic in a Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 look.

The psychadellic, floral print dress with a black accented neckline was worn by Amanda with a waist-cinching belt (a good addition).

She wore the dress with a voluminous blow-out, heavily kohl-rimmed eyes, black bracelets and simple black ankle-straps.  

Somehow, I expected the first sighting of a Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 look from Amanda and she didn't disappoint!

At Comic Con 2011

Spotted: Lots of young stars at the Comic Con 2011, held in San Diego, CA.

Amanda Seyfried, promoting her upcoming movie "In Time", with Justine Timberlake wore a flowy, silky Prabal Gurung dress with black accents and strappy Prada heels.

Carey Mulligan was also there, for her movie with Ryan Gosling, called "Drive". She wore a colour block Roksanda Illicinic midi dress with jewelled flats.

All around, colour and free-flowing materials were popular with these two actresses.

Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene also made appearances for their movie, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" which will be out later this year.

K. Stew donned her favourite skinny pencil jeans and Converse and although I'm not complaining about this casual attire too much, the sheer t-shirt is annoying me. Good job her hair and make up are alright.

Nikki Reed & Ashley Greene exuded a more feminine style.

Nikki Reed is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana frock with loose waves and black Brian Atwoods.

Ashley Greene steered away from the predictable floral in her striped Yigal Azrouël number which she wore with nude Jimmy Choo heels - I definitely prefer this style over Nikki Reed's look.

Of Black & Gold

Black outfits can be jazzed up with a touch of gold, in the form of a necklace, watch, bracelets, the list is long. Both Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum combined the two hues together to achieve glamorous formal looks.

Amanda wore a layered statement necklace at the "Red Riding Hood" premiere in London. She wore a LBD and had her hair in waves; a touch of bright colour was added via her lipstick. I think it's a really bold look and works for the red carpet.

Emmy Rossum was at the Elie Tahari store, wearing a pleated lame gold skirt by the designer, pairing it with a tank top, matching gold necklace and suede heels.

Pretty Premieres

Spotted: Sarah Jessica Parker and Amanda Seyfried (at separate events).

SJP was seen at the opening of a Broadway play, she wore a sparkly black Halston Heritage dress (she's the creative director for the label) and worked it! I love the all black look on her - the dress is just sparkly enough, without being covered in any actual sparkles or pailletes.

Amanda Seyfried looked fabulous on the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie, "Red Riding Hood". Dressed in Lanvin from head to toe, Amanda owned the look! I love the rich purple of the dress and the nude shoes are a touch different from the usual ones we see. The chunky Tom Binns necklace is a nice touch too.
