Nicole Richie in Winter Kate - 'Fashion Star' Celebration at H&M

Nicole Richie attended an event at H&M for her show 'Fashion Star' in NYC on Tuesday.

She wore a very bright, printed Winter Kate dress that had full, bell-sleeves.

I don't hate the pattern but there's something about that yellow and that dress that is garish and gaudy.

That being said, I liked the top-knot she sported and the red satin Brian Atwood pumps.

Nicole Richie promoted 'Fashion Star' at the NBC Summer Press party in California on Wednesday.

She wore a laser-cut black shirt from her own Winter Kate line, with some leather skinnies by Helmut Lang.

She accessorised with bangles and heels from House of Harlow.  Her hair is looking a lot better with the darker hue.

Nicole Richie celebrated her father, Lionel Richie at a concert for him, held in Las Vegas.

She played ambassadress for her line Winter Kate by wearing this bright yellow dress with a black rose print.

I love Nicole's stylish hairstyle and the earrings but the print on that dress is too garish.
