Berenice Bejo in Giambattista Valli - 2012 amfAR Gala

Berenice Bejo wore a printed silk gown from the Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture collection.

This couture collection is beautiful and Berenice looked wonderful; the colours and the silhouette really worked on her.

She wore her hair in a low bun and her make-up was fresh and dewy.  She accessorised with an Olympia Le Tan book clutch.

Vanity Fair Gucci Cannes Party

Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Connelly and Berenice Bejo glammed up for the Vanity Fair Gucci party on Saturday night during the Cannes Film Festival.

Naomi Watts went all out in a shimmery silver Gucci dress with a feather hem.  The drop waist dress had a vintage flapper vibe and Naomi played it up with her hair and accessories.

Salma Hayek worked that dark look once more, in a strapless midnight blue Gucci sequined dress with an embellished bodice and waist.  Her make-up was too harsh though, and looked amateurish.

Jennifer Connelly was laid-back in a pailette covered Gucci dress with short-sleeves.  Straight hair and peep-toes completed her look.

Berenice Bejo, who attended with her director husband Michel Hazanavicius wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 dress with a high neck, sheer sleeves and an embellished waist.  This polished look was required on the red carpet, not this.

Berenice Bejo in Prada - Cannes Film Festival Day 4

Berenice Bejo wore a custom Prada creation for the premiere of 'Lawless'.

The strapless dress features a heavily embroidered and crystal embellished bodice with a pink and aqua pleated skirt.  I really wasn't a fan of this gown;  I love mixing prints but this just doesn't work.

Her hair and make-up didn't work for me either.

Berenice Bejo in Louis Vuitton - Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Berenice Bejo wowed in a custom Louis Vuitton gown at the opening ceremony of this year's Cannes Film Festival.

I was left disappointed after her awards season run but she showed her worth in this deep red, silk chiffon dress with an off-shoulder neckline and a train with a bow in the back.

She reminded me of Penelope Cruz because of her combination of dark wavy tresses and eyes.  I hope she maintains this standard henceforth.

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - 2012 Oscars

Berenice Bejo picked an Elie Saab Couture gown for the Oscars.

It was predictable really, seeing as she attended the label's Spring 2012 Couture show in Paris last month.

The mint green gown with a plunging neckline and full sleeves was soft, and dreamy - everything you'd expect from an Elie Saab Couture dress.

However, it failed to pack a visual punch on the red carpet, I also think that the full sleeves are kind of aging.

An interesting updo and emerald and diamond earrings completed her look.

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - 2012 Oscar Nominees Luncheon

Berenice Bejo went back to a favourite of hers, Elie Saab for the Oscars Luncheon.

This shade of purple works brilliantly on the Best Supporting Actress nominee.  Berenice wore the pleated dress that had a deep v-neck with a simple pendant but lost me at those Gucci shoes.

Berenice Bejo In Ralph Lauren - 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

Berenice Bejo wore a Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 gown for the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The silver, embroidered column gown with a plunging neck was worn by her with a low ponytail, a purple pendant necklace (which seems rather out of place) and a silver clutch.

She should have worn long, layered necklaces and worn her hair in a high bun.  I hate it when the dress is magnificent but the styling makes the look fall flat.

Berenice Bejo In Gucci - 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards

Berenice Bejo attended the 2012 Directors Guild Awards in a Gucci Spring 2012 dress.

After a string of pretty but safe choices on the red carpet, I'm glad Berenice changed it up for this event. The drop waist, gold & black dress is lovely on 'The Artist' actress.

However, the styling is pretty mediocre. The side ponytail feels kind of tacky, and those chunky Gucci heels are not pretty.  She should have gone all out and worn her hair in a faux-bob or some volumised style and worn sleek sandals.

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture Presentation

Berenice Bejo of 'The Artist' attended the Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture show in the brand's Resort 2012 sheath.  Berenice has worn Elie Saab around the red carpet circuit this year (click here) so it was only natural to find her in the front row.

She wore the red sheath in a plum version with bare minimum make-up, delicate jewelery, a matching clutch & strappy black heels.

2012 Golden Globes - Blue

Freida Pinto, who was a presenter at the awards, wore a custom creation by Prada.  The ballgown has such a princess-y feeling to it, and Freida looked very pretty in the colour.  She wore it with an ornate Chopard necklace and carried a Roger Vivier clutch.  Loving her hairstyle.

Berenice Bejo of 'The Artist' wore a sapphire hued strapless dress by Gucci premiere.  The shade is lovely on her and she wore it quite simply, with a low bun and dainty earrings.

Jenna Dewan Tatum wore a teal coloured with pleating from the
Maria Lucia Hohan collection.  I like the colour but I'm not too fond of her choice of accessories & hairstyle.

Kelly Osbourne continues to parade her hair colour.  I'm sorry, but it's very difficult to get past it to see that she's wearing a pretty blue Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2012 gown that looks lovely on her.  She's wearing Vhernier jewels & carrying a Judith Leiber clutch.

Michelle Williams looked absolutely wonderful in a Jason Wu column gown with three-quarter sleeves.  Even the velvet isn't bothering me!  Michelle wore it with a black hairband by Fred Leighton and a Judith Leiber clutch.

Sofia Vergara wore a body hugging Vera Wang mermaid gown.  I love love love this shade on her and the way the texture of the flared hem looks like paint strokes.  Genius.
Sophia wore it with side parted, straight hair, pink lips & Harry Winston earrings.

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - 2012 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

French actress, Berenice Bejo of 'The Artist' wore an Elie Saab Spring 2012 dress to the CCMAs.  Her movie won the award for Best Picture.

The lapis blue cocktail dress with a deep v-neck and beading was nice but her accessories & hair totally let the look down for me.

The hair is so-so, but it's those matching earrings and gold heels (Jimmy Choo?) that I have issues with.
