The Royal Wedding!

I doubt anyone would NOT have known that Prince William got married on Friday to the lovely Catherine Middleton, unless he or she has been hiding under a huge rock. Every newspaper and website/blog has written about the wedding, so I thought I'd join in too.

The now Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress had been gathering interest ever since the engagement was announced and she didn't disappoint! True to the rumours, the wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton, the creative director for Alexander McQueen.

The beautiful creation had a lace shoulder and sleeves, with a satin bodice that had a V-neck (true to the Middleton style) and a full skirt, adorned with lace and a modest train. Radiant I think is the only word that can be used to describe her! I think that the dress was simple yet made an elegant statement and has a very timeless feel to it. Oh, and her husband looked pretty darn handsome too.

Pippa Middleton, the maid of honour and the Duchess' sister also wore a Sarah Burton custom made cowl neck gown that had a slinky yet modest feel to it. A lot has been written about how she shouldn't have worn white but who cares when the result was this stunning?! The gown was simply fabulous and set off her tan and figure perfectly.

Leighton in Vera Wang

Leighton Meester is back!

At an event in NYC, the actress wore a floral obi skirt from Vera Wang, with a sleeveless chiffon silk blouse in a pale hue. It's a nice spring look but the skirt is swallowing Leighton's frame! A better fit was in order. She wore round toe pumps to finish the look off.

Leighton's the face of Vera Wang's new fragrance, "Lovestruck". At the launch, she wore a black strapless top with matching bottoms and Roger Vivier Heels. It's typically Leighton and actually balances the sweetness of the flowers behind her!

Water for Elephants Paris Premiere

Reese Witherspoon & Robert Pattinson worked the red carpet in Paris, for the "Water for Elephants" premiere.

Reese looked ever so chic in a scarlet, one-shoulder dress by Parisian designer Giambattista Valli. She kept the minimal look going, by wearing black peep toes and keeping her hair and jewellery simple.

Robert Pattinson didn't disappoint either!

Ladies in Red

Spotted: Eva Mendes & Deepika Padukone, both sporting a vibrant shade of the hue this week.

Eva's Gucci dress had it going on in the colour department but overall, the dress was a little too matronly, perhaps a shorter hemline could have helped.

Deepika on the other hand looked stunning in a one shoulder number, paired with gold accessories. The hair, make up, the accessories all worked so perfectly together!

The Time 100 Party

Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick and Kerry Washington were at Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People's list bash.

Blake's hair! It's red! She channelled Ariel in this aqua, draped Zuhair Murad gown, worn with mermaid waves and a big smile! It's a nice look but I'm still not quite used to her hair being not blonde.

Anna Kendrick chose a plunge neck LBD by Zac Posen, she manages to pull the bold look off and the dress is just jazzy enough for a party without being OTT.

Kerry Washington looked great in a silk, purple hued Malandrino that had a subtle watercolour print on it. I like the simple hair, make up and nude Jimmy Choos.

Louis Vuitton Ladies!

At the Louis Vuitton rooftop party for Glamour magazine, a lot of "young" Hollywood made appearances.

Freida Pinto looked sweet in a Peter-Pan collar sweater worn with crisp black shorts and black pumps. She finished the look off with a slick of red lipstick and an updo.

Ashley Greene's look confused me a little. The pussy-bow blouse, side ponytail and hoop earrings are all fine, but the look was lost to me when it came to the leather pants. The colour block clutch is too loud for this outfit too.


Emma Roberts wore a knee-length tri-tone dress with minimal heels and a gold clutch, it's fairly simple and easy on the eye.

Emma Stone wore a dress from Louis Vuitton - it's one of those cases where the dress may have looked splendid on the runway but failed to charm off it. It doesn't fit her very well and the colour's very off.

Natasha Poly Wedding Pictures

Only days ago, one of our favorite models, russian stunner Natasha Poly got married in St. Tropez! The lucky man is her boyfriend, Peter Bakker. 

Congratulations to them, we wish them the best!

Celebrating for 3 days, Natasha wore a white long-sleeved Givenchy gown, with over 200 guests being entertained by Leona Lewis in a private concert.

Fancy Florals

Last week, Reese Witherspoon was seen at the premiere of her new summer movie, "Water for Elephants". She wore a really pretty white number from Jason Wu that had a prom-style silhouette and a floral lace applique. Like I've said before, white is definitely Reese's colour and she simply sparkles in this look!

Rachel Bilson was decked in Chanel at an event. She wore this embroidered silk dress with a floral design with black pumps and a shell-shaped black clutch; the look is super feminine and elegant.

Trend Watch: Colour Block

So, colour-blocking has been major this spring - it's really cute if you know which colours to put together.

Harry Potter starlet, Bonnie Wright wore coloured separates at an event, wearing leather pants with a black tee, topped with a bright red blazer and carried a contrasting teal handbag. I like this look, and her face looks fresh and natural.

Lake Bell paired yellow with forest green, in this top-skirt combo. She added a delicious purple clutch to the mix and finished off with tan booties. Sure it seems a little stifling for the warmer weather but the colours look great together and it takes a brave woman to pull of a bright yellow skirt!

Model Selita Ebanks stuck to the tried and tested red-pink combo, with this kimono style Jay Godfrey number, paired with nude heels.
