Maria Sharapova in J. Mendel - 2012 ESPY Awards

Maria Sharapova brightened the red carpet at this year's ESPY Awards like she only can.

The ace tennis player wore a lovely periwinkle hued J. Mendel Resort 2013 dress with a cut out in the front and an open back, with a leg split.

It looked great on Maria, who possesses the height of a model.  The colour showcased her eyes and blonde locks too.

Olivia Munn in Giorgio Armani - 2012 ESPY Awards

Olivia Munn wore a Giorgio Armani dress to the 2012 ESPY Awards.

She looked gorgeous, simply gorgeous in the silk mauve gown with a simple scoop neck and column skirt.  It looked sleek, sophisticated and the colour was beautiful on her skin.

A sleek hairstyle and gold earrings finished her look.

Hayden Panettiere in Giorgio Armani - 2012 ESPY Awards

Hayden Panettiere wowed me at the 2012 ESPY Awards.

The petite blonde actress looked sleek and statuesque in a textured silver, grey and baby blue Giorgio Armani dress.

Normally we see Hayden in cocktail dresses as gowns tend to overwhelm her figure but this look was utter perfection.  She turned a complete glamazon, with her wavy locks and glossy, perfect make-up.  Drop diamond earrings, a diamond bangle and a baby blue clutch completed her look.

Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta - 2012 ESPY Awards

Zooey Deschanel made an appearance at the ESPYs this year, much to my surprise.

The 'New Girl' actress was pretty in a silver and gold sequined dress by Oscar de la Renta dress which was worn with a red belt around the waist.

As far as interesting goes, this dress was perfect but I found that belt unnecessary.  She completed her look with voluminous hair, a sparkly box clutch and gold Sergio Rossi heels.  

Thank the lord, there is no sign of her infamous black tights.

Freida Pinto in Tory Burch, Rachel Roy & Missoni - 'Trishna' Promotions

Freida Pinto is a busy lady.  The 'Trishna' actress has been promoting her new movie quite aggressively for the past few days in an array of colourful ensembles.

Freida appeared on 'Access Hollywood' in a printed purple sundress by Tory Burch and paired it with matching flats.

Then she hopped over to film 'Today', wearing a sunny yellow Rachel Roy dress with a dark blazer and the same fuschia flats.  I love her the addition of the colourful purse.

Finally, Freida attended a special screening of her movie in the city in a signature Missoni print dress.  It was worn with a messy side braid and black flats.

I have to say, normally I would be against such laid-back promotional style but it works for Freida!

Anne Hathaway in Stella McCartney - 'Late Show with David Letterman' Appearance

It's official, Anne Hathaway is in a black phase.

'The Dark Knight Rises' actress stopped by the 'Late Show with David Letterman' on Wednesday to promote her movie.  She opted for a black Stella McCartney Resort 2012 dress with tassels in the front and the back.  

It was worn with simple black pumps which kind of horrified me.  If you're going to wear Stella McCartney, wear the beautiful shoes from the label too!

Freida Pinto in Rachel Roy - 'Trishna' Cinema Society NYC Screening

Freida Pinto premiered 'Trishna' in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress wore a Rachel Roy Resort 2012 dress for the event.  The white dress with silver scallop finish is absolutely lovely.  The sad part therefore, is that it fell totally flat on Freida.  

Her stylist definitely took the night off.  The hair was limp, make-up boring and the shoes were the worst part. Why, oh why would you pair this pretty dress with heavy, clunky black pumps?!

Diane Kruger in Vanessa Bruno - Sirius XM Visit

Diane Kruger dropped by the Sirius XM studio in New York City on Tuesday.


The actress wore a simple white shift dress from the Vanessa Bruno Spring 2012 collection that had pretty silver accents on it.

It felt perfect for the warm weather and Diane wore it with a messy ponytail and white sandals.

Anne Hathaway in Dolce & Gabbana - 'Shut Up and Play the Hits' Premiere

Anne Hathaway is clearly preparing for the promotional tour of 'The Dark Knight Rises'.  It seems like the only explanation as to why she's being drawn to black dresses lately - she's saving her best for later.  Hoping that is true.

Anne was seen in New York last night at the premiere of a documentary at the city's Village East Cinema in a textured Dolce & Gabbana shift.  It was paired with gold jewelery, a chainstrap bag and black flats.

It is a charming, easy-going look for sure, but I hope she steps up her game during the premieres.

Diane Kruger in Azzedine Alaia - 'Farewell, My Queen' NYC Screening

Diane Kruger was back on the red carpet at the screening of her Marie Antoinette movie 'Farewell, My Queen'.

Diane was glowing in an floor length, figure hugging silver gown by Azzedine Alaia.  We don't see Diane wearing such dresses often but there's no doubt that she wears it well.

It's not an extraordinary dress so it was good to see her wear it with a bright lip colour.  The look was completed with a wavy hairstyle and an ivory clutch.

Freida Pinto in Raoul - 'Trishna' LA Screening

Freida Pinto looked cheery at the LA screening of her latest movie called 'Trishna'.

The Indian actress looked lovely in this bright red Raoul Pre-Fall 2012 dress.  The dress had a high neck and faux-pockets.

Freida wore it with a 60s feel, courtesy of the ivory Roger Vivier pumps.  Her hair was lovely but I wish she hadn't worn that dark lip colour.

Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham - Street Style

Victoria Beckham was spotted around in London one evening last week in her own design.

The designer wore the orange sheath with ivory shoulder straps and zip running down her back from her Spring 2012 collection. This dress has been a favourite of mine and stars, with Jennifer Lopez and Abbey Crouch wearing it at some point.

In terms of fit, Jennifer Lopez takes this with her curvy figure but I prefer Victoria's styling which consisted of a ponytail, her own clutch and nude Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes.

Olivia P sat front row at the Valentino Haute Couture Fall 2012 presentation in Paris yesterday.  I'm pleased to write that the collection is everything we expect from the label, with a darker side.

Olivia looked pretty as ever, in a candy pink Valentino Spring 2012 creation, with lace and tulle tiers.  

As always, her accessories made the look more special.  Big hair, pearl earrings and glittering sandals completed her fabulous look.

Kirsten Dunst graced the opening of a Louis Vuitton boutique on the Place Vendome in Paris yesterday.

Kirsten wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 dress for the event.  This dusky rose dress with a square neck, geometric print and a bow at the waist had a little bit of a 70s vibe about it.

She looks good but I would have liked to see an interesting accessory or unexpected dash of colour here.  Where's Olivia Palermo when you need her?

Chanel Fall 2012 Couture Presentation

Chanel's Fall 2012 Couture presentation took place in Paris, France yesterday.

Clemence Poesy looked great in a fitted, elegant LBD which was worn with black brogues. Wavy hair, and a clutch completed her look.

Director Sofia Coppola rocked a sheer, dotted navy blouse with black pants.  I love the sweet sleeves, which balance off her all-black look.

Diane Kruger was my absolute favourite, in this powder blue Chanel Resort 2012 dress.  She wore her hair in a side ponytail and completed the look with red lips, nails and studded flats.  The pageboy cap is an odd touch but I don't hate it.

Shailene Woodley & Zoe Saldana - Armani Privé Fall 2012 Couture Presentation

Shailene Woodley attended her first ever Haute Couture Week show in Paris yesterday; she was joined by Zoe Saldana for the evening.

Shailene looked grown-up and elegant in a cream jacket and black pants, which made her look even more statuesque. I loved her fresh-faced look and as usual she opted for no accessories, the finishing touches included a bun and starppy heels.

Zoe Saldana was adorable in a glimmering salmon pink dress.  Wavy locks, smokey eyes, clutch and black peep-toes completed her look.

Blake Lively in Lanvin - 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' Appearance

Blake Lively made an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' last week for promoting 'Savages'.

The actress favoured separates, and looked fabulous in this black and white ensemble from the Lanvin Fall 2012 collection.  Blake wore the white top and black pants with the Lanvin crystal eagle statement necklace, which was previously seen on Beyonce.  

I, for one, love this sleek look from Blake, who has been wearing girly frocks for some time now.  Voluminous locks and strappy sandals completed her look.

Beyonce attended the BET Awards in Los Angeles on July 1st.

The diva looked amazing in a charteuse Stephane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture dress with a leg split and metal waist piece. Her look was completed with natural hair, glossy lips and white sandals.

The Knowles sister sure love their Stephane Rolland Couture - Solange wore a dress from the same collection for a gala, back in April.
