Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen - Order of the Garter Procession

The Duchess of Cambridge was back in formal wear once again as she attended Order of the Garter Procession at Windsor Castle with the rest of the royal family.

She looked perfect, in a custom white Alexander McQueen coat dress with a buttoned top and a draped, voluminous skirt.  The Duchess has been sporting straight, fitted silhouettes for a while so it was lovely seeing her in this flouncy skirt.

It was worn with another magnificent head piece and of course, the ever present LK Bennett pumps.

Kate Middleton in Erdem - Trooping the Colour Ceremony

The Duchess of Cambridge looked fresh and radiant at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 16th in London, as part of The Queen's official birthday celebrations.

She took a break from McQueen and donned a dove grey Erdem Resort 2012 dress with an embroidered floral design.

It was paired with another beautiful hat and a grey clutch.  We can't see her shoes here but they're likely to be her nude LK Bennett pumps.

Kate Middleton in Alexander McQueen - Diamond Jubilee Procession

The Duchess of Cambridge joined her family on the fourth and final day of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee festivities.

She wore her second custom Alexander McQueen look of the event - this beige coloured lace dress with three-quarter sleeves and a plain waist-band was elegant and very proper for a church service and carriage procession.

Catherine looked lovely in the dress, which was worn with a matching topper, and pinned back, curled locks.  She carried a pale pink Prada clutch and wore her nude LK Bennet pumps.

It was styled by her with a gold brooch, a bold Sylvia Fletcher hat, a matching gold and red clutch and her favourite nude LK Bennet pumps.

Kate Middleton in Jenny Packham - BOA Olympic Concert

The Duchess of Cambridge made jaws drop at the BOA Olympic Concert, which she attended with her husband, Prince William.

She looked spectacular in a teal Jenny Packham Spring 2012 dress.  The dress boasted a pleated front, skirt,cap-sleeves and a lace-covered back with a waist-defining ribbon.

The colour was unexpected, as was the hairstyle - the braided updo is elegant and makes the details of the dress stand out.  Kohl-rimmed eyes, diamond earrings and a matching clutch were the finishing touches.

Kate Middleton in Roland Mouret - Thirty Club Event

The Duchess of Cambridge caused a bit of hype this week when she arrived the Claridges Hotel in London wearing a white dress for the first time after her 2011 wedding.

She wore a Roland Mouret Fall 2009 dress with a bateau neckline, full sleeves and a leg split.  She looked very elegant, white definitely agrees with her.

Signature hair, diamond sparklers and gorgeous silver Jimmy Choo 'Vamp' sandals provided the finishing touches to her fresh evening look.

Kate Middleton in Rebecca Taylor - Goldsmith Hall Visit

The Duchess of Cambridge visited Goldsmith Hall in London with husband Prince William today.

She wore a blue coloured tweet skirt-suit by Rebecca Taylor;  blue is one of her favourite colours so it was no surprise to see her in this.

Matching accessories completed her look which included an Anya Hindmarch clutch.

Kate Middleton in Matthew Williamson - 'African Cats' Premiere

The Duchess of Cambridge attended the premiere of 'African Cats' in London with her husband.

She chose a grey Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2012 dress with a bejewelled neckline and sleeves and a peplum around the waist.

The turquoise detail on the dress really added interest to it; Kate completed the look with a navy clutch and pumps.

Kate Middleton in Reiss - Children's Hospice Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visited a children's hospice in Ipswich this morning.

She wore a striking, electric blue Reiss belted dress for the visit with full sleeves.

Kate has been wearing a lot of different silhouettes (she's worn a peplum top, a flared and pleated skirt in the last two weeks) lately which keeps me interested in seeing what she'll wear next.

As always, a black clutch and heels completed her look.

The Duchess of Cambridge continues her string of public appearances.  This week, she visited the Princes Foundation for the Children and the Arts at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London with her father-in-law, Prince Charles.

Kate looked serene as always, in a grey dress by Orla Kiely which had three-quarter sleeves, an applique flower neckline and a pleated skirt.  She completed the look with a black clutch and her favourite LK Bennett black pumps.

Kate Middleton In LK Bennett - The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Tour

The Duchess of Cambridge was beside the Queen as both made their way into Leicester's city centre on Thursday as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Tour.

Kate wore a skirt-suit by one of her favourite labels - LK Bennett.  It was also in one of her favourite colours - navy blue.  The fitted suit also featured a peplum waist and a thick belt which made it very much on-trend.

A James Lock hat and matching black pumps along with a clutch completed her look.

Fashion Roundup

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Women in Film Pre-Oscars event in a jumpsuit by Band of Outsiders that had tuxedo-like lapels and a plunging neckline.  Her favourite Loree Rodkin necklace, and Jimmy Choo peep-toes completed the look.

Selena Gomez also attended the event in a dress by Ani Lee that had a bustier top and a skirt.  There's just something costume-y about this dress no? She looks like she's just jumped off the set of some Disney fairy movie.

Katy Perry is currently in the City of Lights as she attends shows during Paris Fashion Week.

For a lunch, Katy wore a Vera Wang Spring 2012 dress in a pale blue and paired it with a pink bag and nude sandals - it feels like a mismatch of things but at least the colours are pretty.

Then in the evening, she wore a Balmain mini dress with the signature markings of the label's dresses.

By now you must know how much I detest her blue hair.

Kate Middleton did a charity event in a bright Missoni coat, which she wore with suede Rupert Sanderson pumps.  I love the addition of the bright daffodils.

Carrie Underwood wore an iridescent Oscar de la Renta Spring 2012 gown to an event.  Love this dress on her, but the hair-do feels too pageant-y.

Kate Middleton In Alice by Temperley - 'Warhorse' London Premiere

The Royal couple attended the UK premiere of Spielberg's 'Warhorse' last night.

The Duchess donned a dress by one of her favourite labels: Alice by Temperely for the event.

She looked great as always, in the black lace gown that has a cream coloured underlay, a v-neck and long sleeves.

But maybe it's time to change up the hair now Kate.

Kate Middleton In Ralph Lauren

The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to a homeless shelter in London yesterday looking casually stylish in a Ralph Lauren sweater dress.

The moss coloured, turtle-neck sweater dress was cinched in at the waist with a thick black belt which defined Kate's slim figure even more.

Tights and black suede boots (a staple for her) completed her cosy, festive look.

Kate Middleton In Alexander McQueen - Military Awards

Kate Middleton arrived at the Military Awards tonight, looking gorgeous in an Alexander McQueen gown.

The strapless, velvet gown with ruffle trim detail on the bodice had a very 80's feel to it.

She wore it with a signature, shiny blow-out, bold eyebrows and a stunning diamond necklace.

Fashion Roundup

Kate Middleton made waves by opting for a printed Zara frock, while attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.  Even though the jacket, tights, pumps, simple hair are all very signature K.Middleton, the hemline has gone up by a few inches than usual!

Jessica Chastain wore a Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 dress at the Marrakech Film Festival.  The colour is pretty on her but the shiny, slightly creased material is unsightly.

Dianna Agron attended the Trevor Live event in a halter dress with an embellished neck.  A pompadour hairstyle added interest to her look but otherwise her black accessories felt uninspiring.

Olivia Palermo wore a sequined Marchesa dress with three-quarter sleeves to the Valentino Garavani digital museum opening.  As usual, her accessories worked their magic:  the Valentino heels are lovely as is the pink clutch.

Elizabeth Olsen looked swish in NYC, in a crisp, white button down tucked into high-waisted grey trousers.  A blowout, shades & leather pumps completed her city look.

Felicity Jones attended a party by Bulgari, in a high-neck blouse paired with a tough looking leather skirt.  Such a simple look but done so well.

Kate Middleton In Jenny Packham

Kate Middleton + Jenny Packham = a winning combination.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a reception in London with her husband, clad in a Jenny Packham gown.

The silver coloured, one-shoulder, silk-chiffon dress with a ribbon at the waist, looked perfect on Kate's lithe frame and tanned skin.  Her dark hair was side swept, and pinned back on one side.

You may remember the red version of this dress on Angelina Jolie, at the May premiere of 'The Tree of Life' (click here).

Whose look do you like better? I'm going with Kate on this one.

Kate Middleton in Belulah London

Prince William and wife Kate host a dinner at St. James’s Palace on Thursday in London, in the benefit of a children's charity.

Kate donned a Belulah London silk jersey dress for the occassion.

The colour was a surprise, as Kate usually favours muted tones but I can't say I'm loving this dress - there's something too flashy about it, and I'm not a fan of those balloon sleeves or the bow at the waist.

Her hairstyle and make-up also seemed a little off.  A rare misstep for the Duchess.

BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala

The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge have landed in Hollywood! The pair attended the BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala with a whole roster of A-Listers.

I'm beginning to doubt whether lilac/lavender was the theme for this gala because it definitely had an omnipresence there.

Kate looked mesmerising in a long lilac Alexander McQueen dress which she wore with her signature blow-out and some sparkly earrings, loaned from the Queen, no biggie.

Nicole Kidman played it down in a lovely lilac Elie Saab gown, but I wish she'd kept her soft and flowy, this hair-do is so stiff!

Cat Deeley was there too, in a... lilac coloured Dior number, it's a great colour but the dress itself just seems to hang off her, not a good fit.

Zooey Deschanel was there too, in a golden Oscar de la Renta frock - it's staying true to her style.

Blake Lively looked stunning, in this flowy, kaftan-esque Marchesa dress.

Jennifer Garner upped her game, and looked fantastic in this one-shoulder navy dress; the fabric flows so beautifully!

Jennifer Lopez wore a dark green Pucci dress, it's really great on her in terms of colour, fit but would have looked classier sans the giant cutout. Her hair looks good too!

Elizabeth Bank's white Versace dress is really snazzy, what with the stuctured feel and the gold button detail, but it was very wrong on her, and she sadly could not pull it off. (Where was Mila Kunis?!)
