Blake Lively in Lanvin - 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' Appearance

Blake Lively made an appearance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' last week for promoting 'Savages'.

The actress favoured separates, and looked fabulous in this black and white ensemble from the Lanvin Fall 2012 collection.  Blake wore the white top and black pants with the Lanvin crystal eagle statement necklace, which was previously seen on Beyonce.  

I, for one, love this sleek look from Blake, who has been wearing girly frocks for some time now.  Voluminous locks and strappy sandals completed her look.

Blake Lively in Gucci - 'Savages' NYC Premiere

The word stunning has almost become synonymous with Blake Lively.

The actress was back on the red carpet in New York City, for the premiere of her movie 'Savages'.  Blake has become the new face of the Gucci fragrance 'Gucci Premiere' so it was only time we saw her wearing a dress by the label.  

This soft, lemon yellow halter gown was perfect for a summer evening and pairing it with those turquoise Lorraine Schwartz baubles was genius.  Her hair and make-up were perfect too.

Blake Lively in Michael Kors - 'Good Morning America' Appearance

America must have gotten a morning jolt when Blake Lively made an appearance on 'Good Morning America' last week.

The 'Savages' actress was striking, in a sharp red pant suit from the Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2012 collection, worn with a black top.

The colours are gorgeous on her, and we don't see Blake wearing red a lot so this was a nice change.  I also love her choice of footwear: those Nicholas Kirkwood sandals add interest to this look.

Blake Lively in Marchesa - 'Late Show with David Letterman' Appearance

Blake Lively made a change of outfit as she shot 'Late Show with David Letterman' last Tuesday.

After her Jenny Packham dress, Blake opted for a white Marchesa dress with cape-like sleeves and a longer hemline than we are used to seeing on her. It was worn with a very pretty Lorraine Schwartz cuff.

There's no two ways about this, Blake always wears her Marchesa well.

Blake Lively visited 'David Letterman' last week as she continues to promote 'Savages'.

She wore a light, blush hued Jenny Packham Fall 2012 dress.  This dress had a crystal embellished key-hole neckline and shoulders.  

I have to admit, I wasn't so taken with this dress when I first saw it, but it is beautiful on Blake.  Her hair was worn in an half up, half down style and she completed the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and sparkling Louboutin pumps.

Blake Lively lived up to expectations at the LA premiere of her Oliver Stone directed movie called 'Savages'.

The actress was smoking, in a curve-hugging Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Couture dress. The strapless nude dress with black beading was literally made for a moment like this.

Blake wore her gorgeous hair in Veronica Lake-esque waves and completed the look with matte red lips, nails and gold jewelery.

Blake Lively In Valentino - Godiva’s 'The Sweetest Story Ever Told Sweepstakes' Launch

Blake Lively helped launch Godiva's new contest in NYC wearing a Valentino Spring 2012 ensemble.

She layered a sky-blue skirt over a crochet white dress with short sleeves for the event.  You can really tell Blake doesn't have a stylist by looking at this outfit, it looks haphazardly put together but I'm actually liking it very much.

Finishing touches included bouncy, wavy locks and white Louboutins.

Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum & Chloe Moretz - Jason Wu for Target Launch Party

Jason Wu's capsule collection for Target was officially launched yesterday and was attended by Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum & Chlose Moretz.  The collection sticks to the designer's aesthetic of comfortable and feminine clothes that are easy on the eye and wearable; to see the entire lookbook click here.

Blake Lively wore a black & white peplum dress with a beaded skirt from the designer's Spring 2012 collection.  She wore her hair in a loose ponytail and added some delish Lorraine Schwartz earrings.  Blake should have worn simple black heels for this dress as those animal-print pumps are mismatched.

Emmy Rossum wore a look from the collection.  The dotted, blush coloured blouse, tucked into the jaqcuard skirt was glamourised by Emmy.  The half-up, half-down style is fine but the earrings should have been given a miss.

Chloe Moretz also chose to wear an ensemble from the collection.  She looks cute in this white blouse & black pleated skirt combination that she wore with a braided bun and bow-topped heels.

Blake Lively In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Haywire' NYC Screening

Blake Lively attended the NYC screening of the new movie 'Haywire' which stars Ewan McGregor & Gina Carano.  The movie is directed by Steven Sodenbergh, whose upcoming project reportedly stars Blake.

The actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble for the event.  I wish Blake would get her act together and sport some sleek silhouettes; the frumpy looking skirt and tacky looking sequined top are doing her fab figure no favours.

She completed the look by keeping her blonde locks down, & wearing ribbed navy tights and chunky boots.

Chic Casual Style

A chic casual dressing style is one that takes years to master (sometimes days if you can afford a personal stylist).

These are some recent casual celebrity looks which I love.

Olivia Palermo - her first outfit was an instant hit with me.  Light, flared jeans are hard to wear right in the winter months but Olivia styled them perfectly with a burgundy peacoat, animal-print scarf & a divine Valentino handbag.

In the second one, she wears a navy coloured dress with matching boots (!), all topped off with a fur-collar coat.

Miranda Kerr managed to look chic in a colourful mohair cardigan - quite the feat.  The model wore it with a simple v-neck white tee, faded jeans & suede ankle boots.

Blake Lively was spotted strolling around Boston in Diesel jeans, tough looking boots, a moto jacket, an oversized, tribal-print scarf & a Givenchy bag.

 Rosie Huntington Whiteley wore a striped sweater, with an oversized, animal-print scarf, jeans & gorgeous, embellished Chanel boots.

Kate Bosworth did some shopping in LA, wearing a rustic, orange striped top by Proenza Schouler with black jeans and edgy black Chloé boots.

Blake Lively wore a trouser-suit from the Elie Saab Spring 2012 collection, for the launch of Lady Gaga's Workshop, held at Barney's in NYC.

Blake looked great in the cobalt blue suit with lace-topped shoulders;  she wore the look with cap-toe pumps.

A ponytail, gold earrings, and a cocktail ring completed her look.

I think I would have preferred it if she had kept her hair down on this occasion and worn strappy sandals instead of pumps.

The Spring 2012 dress with a sheer, embroidered panel & tassles is extremely tricky to pull off, Blake just about manages it thanks to her height.

An updo, white earrings, pink lips & neutral heels completed her almost costume-y look.

While I understand why Blake wore them, I wish she had skipped the brown tights & booties altogether. I'm sure she could have picked out an interesting enough pair of heels from her vast Louboutin collection.

The beehive hairstyle, make-up & Lorraine Schwartz baubles were spot on though, welcome back Blake.
