Anushka Sharma In Donna Karan - 2012 Stardust Awards

Anushka Sharma attended the Stardust Awards in a grey Donna Karan Resort 2012 gown.

The draped silk jersey gown with one-shoulder could have been unflattering on someone else but Anushka has the lithe figure to make it work.

A sleek, side parted hairstyle, deep red lips and a statement necklace completed her look and she opted for grey sandals instead of the predictable black pump.

Anushka Sharma In Rachel Gilbert - 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' Premiere - 2011 Dubai Film Festival

It was a Rachel Gilbert dress for Anushka Sharma, at the premiere of her movie 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' at the 2011 Dubai Film Festival which she attended with co-star, Ranveer Singh.

The sparkly, strapless tulle ballgown looked beautiful on Anushka.

But the stiff hairstyle was off-putting, which is a shame as her make-up was perfection.

Anushka Sharma In Sabyasachi & The Row - 2011 Dubai Film Festival

Anushka Sharma promoted her upcoming movie 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' earlier during the day.

At the press conference, she wore a sheer blouse with embellished shoulders by Sabyasachi, pairing it with tapered pants by The Row.

While I love both, the pairing wasn't suitable for a daytime event; the side bun and make-up also felt heavy.

Wish she'd worn this for a party because as a standalone look, it's fab.

Anushka Sharma In Stella McCartney

Indian actress, Anushka Sharma wore a Stella McCartney Fall 2011 dress for a promotional event for her new movie, 'Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl'.

Anushka looked stellar in the navy blue sheath with a velvet front.

Sleek hair, diamond studs and fresh make-up completed her understated look.
Although, have to say, those pointy black flats are disappointing.

You may remember this dress on Penelope Cruz at the Cannes Film Festival this year (click here).

In Christian Dior

At the launch of a book in New Delhi, Sonam Kapoor wore a Resort 2011 Dior dress.

The frilly frock's candy theme was neutralised with her accessories - namely, the Celine cross-body bag and nude peeptoes.

It's girly, flirty and very, very Sonam!

At the GQ Awards earlier in September, the gorgeous Anushka Sharma too wore a pastel green dress from the same collection.  She wore it with hitched up sleeves and sans a belt.

I'm crazy about this dress on her!  The coral pink lipstick is a great addition too.

IIFA Awards 2011

The annual iifa awards took place in Toronto, Canada during the weekend and I have to say, the clothes didn't disappoint (overly), no disasters, at the very least.

Sonakshi Sinha wore an Alexander McQueen sheath, which has been seen on Kim Kardashian before; it's a good choice for her but I'm not loving those ankle-strap wedges - too casual.

She went for shimmer next, in a wrap dress - again, looks great on her but the hairstyle is too severe and the flower makes her look like a flamenco dancer almost.

Neha Dhupia nailed it on both nights; the polka-dot print shouldn't really work on the green carpet but this Lanvin dress looks so very elegant!

She later wore a chain-detail, cream-coloured Catherine Malandrino dress that she wore with the right hair and make up.

Dia Mirza had a pattern - maxi-style dresses with floral prints and a soft hair-do which is fine but I wish she'd had some fun with her fashion!

The Blumarine dress worked well on her but the second Matthew Williamson didn't really wow me.

Priyanka Chopra stuck to Manish Malhotra - the velvet is horrendous but at least the white overpowers it.

Shilpa Shetty also went with a shimmery black gown, hers a Dolce & Gabbana - but the gaudy necklace and shoes are a turn off.

Anuskha Sharma looked absolutely lovely in a Sabyasachi saree, flawless.

Cosmopolitan Awards

Last night, The Cosmopolitan 'Fun and Fearless' Awards took place in Mumbai. The whole event was highly paradoxical as the attendees' clothes were anything but fun and/or fearless.

Avantika & Imran Khan wore black an
d have to say, looked very polished. I'm going to go easy on Avantika as she's not one to usually shun away from colour or interesting silhouettes. Maybe she just wanted to co-ordinate with her husband? (She's wearing a Gauri & Nainika gown).

Aishwarya Rai
disappointed me by donning an all black suit that wasn't even well made. That and the hairstyle just aged her look. If she had to go the suit way, she could have chosen this cool white Emilio Pucci suit (minus the casual accessories & blue shirt), and paired it with a simple slick ponytail and statement jewels.
Malaika Arora Khan chose a beige body-con dress and wore some chunky gold jewellery with it - it just doesn't work. The accessories don't go well and the dress is just too short.

Anushka Sharma also misse
d the mark, in this really lame black gown - it has no personality whatsoever. This gorgeous Gucci Spring 2011 would have looked stunning on Anushka, alas, one can only wish.

Indian TV personality Ambika Anand dressed for the occassion in a cheery combination of a neon orange shirt dress and a yellow Jimmy Choo bag - the nude kitten heels work perfectly with the look.

Socialite Prerna Goel went for a printe
d Issa dress and added a gold clutch. However, I'm not liking those shoes at all.
Kareena Kapoor wore a peachy Elie Saab gown with a halterneck and pockets! It's not the worst look but something about it doesn't work. For Kareena, I would have chosen this teal Andrew Gn number, the colour and cut would have looked fabulous on her. Also, as lovely as her hair is, I wish she'd try a new look once in a while.

In Versace

Bollywood starlet, Anushka Sharma was spotted at one of the numerous award ceremonies that will now pop up alllll the time. She looked fabulous in a full sleeved, indigo Versace mini and some caged Aldo heels. I for one loved this look on her - the colours are fresh & bright and those heels make her legs look never ending! The make up and hair was subtle, to make sure that the dress is the focus.
