Kate Beckinsale in Christian Dior - 2012 MTV Movie Awards

Kate Beckinsale looked her glamorous best at the MTV Movie Awards.

The 'Total Recall' actress looked sophisticated in an ivory Christian Dior dress with a high neck, three-quarter sleeves and a drape detail.

I complain a lot about Kate's styling but at this event she looked perfect: a ponytail, gold jewelery, clutch and delicious purple Ferregamo pumps completed her look.

Jessica Biel in Giambattista Valli & Kate Beckinsale in J Mendel - 'Total Recall' Mexico Photocall

At the 'Total Recall' photocall in Cancun, Mexico, both Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale wore very contrasting ensembles.

Jessica Biel wore a terracotta top with printed pants from the Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2012 collection.  Relaxed hair, natural-looking make-up and tan Giambattista Valli sandals added the finishing touches to her effortless look.

Kate Beckinsale stuck to her glamorous style in a sexy J Mendel dress with a leather collar, draping and a thigh-high split.  As usual, perfectly wavy locks and nude pumps (by Nicholas Kirkwood) completed her look.

Whose look do you gravitate more towards? It's Jessica Biel for me as I love separates.

Kate Beckinsale In Atelier Versace - Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kate Beckinsale was a complete glamazon at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

The actress wore an Atelier Versace Fall 2011 dress that featured a sequined floral print and gauze lined cutouts.

Kate has been changing things up a lot lately, and actually makes this dress work despite it not being a solid coloured gown.

Wavy hair, Chopard earrings and a black clutch completed her look.

Kate Beckinsale In Diane von Furstenberg - 2012 Independent Spirit Awards

Kate Beckinsale stepped out of her comfort zone at this year's Independent Spirit Awards by wearing a fabulous jumpsuit from the Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2012 collection (even though the original is in a baby pink hue).

I'm glad she wore it in this delicious fuschia shade though, as it looks stunning on her glowing skin and highlighted hair.

A tousled hairstyle, gold jewelery by Lorraine Schwartz and Christian Louboutin embellished gold peep-toes.

Kate Beckinsale stepped out for the  Vanity Fair & Chrysler Party pre-Oscars party, held at Eva Longoria's restaurant, Beso.

The hot pink silk dress with a draping and a waist cinching belt was fabulous on Kate.

A typical swingy ponytail, black sparkly earrings and Jimmy Choo peep-toes (no pumps!) were the finishing touches.

Kate Beckinsale wore a Vivienne Westwood gown for the Costume Designers Guild Awards.

The lilac and soft grey dress had a subtle fan print as well as an off-shoulder neckline which gave it a romantic aura.

Kate tends to favour pale colours and that can get boring sometimes but I simply love this dress on her which she wore with a chic updo and statement earrings.

Kate Beckinsale wore a Zuhair Murad mini to the Grammys.

The 'Underworld Awakening' actress looked pretty good in the cream coloured chiffon dress with a draped shoulder & black accents.


A ponytail and her favourite plain black pumps (Ferregamo) completed the look - I really wish her stylist would inform her that there are other kinds of shoes out there.

After Madrid, Berlin was the next stop for Kate Beckinsale who's promoting her new movie 'Underworld Awakening'.

The actress wore a Christian Dior Spring 2012 dress for the photocall.  The pale lavender coloured frock has an oversized bow at the waist & buttons on the side.

Kate wore it with a flouncy ponytail and pewter Ferregamo shoes.  

Kate's a pretty lady but sometimes that's just not enough.  This look could have been better styled - some bling, exciting make-up, a cuff, a clutch, interesting shoes?  This is just too plain.

Kate Beckinsale In Michael Kors - 'Underworld Awakening' Madrid Photocall

Kate Beckinsale is officially on the promotional tour for 'Underworld Awakening' I guess.  She wore a Michael Kors dress for a photocall in Madrid.

The dark red dress had a python-print neck and a knotted waist.  While I like the dress, I don't like how Kate's hair is hiding that fab neck detail, a ponytail was much needed. 

Instead she wore her hair in the usual wavy style and added nude Brian Atwood pumps.  Is anyone else bored of the bright dress and nude shoe combination yet?  She could have worn a contrasting colour, maybe a deep purple.

Vanessa Minnillo wore a lacy black dress by Love Serpent, the red version of which we saw on Miranda Kerr in 2011 (click here).  It's a pretty dress and she wore it well.

Vanessa Hudgens is still in Australia, promoting her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.  She wore a cute, printed dress by Bec & Bridge for a photocall near the beach.  I'm giving the shades and the gladiator sandals a miss though.

Elizabeth Banks is currently stuck in an all black phase.  She did an interview in NYC this week wearing a brocade Andrew Gn Spring 2012 coat which she wore it with tights, Tabitha Simmons ankle-boots, and a rather random red Prada bag.

She attended the premiere of 'Haywire' in a Theyskens' Theory fringe dress, topped with a strong shouldered jacket and gold accessories.

 Kate Beckinsale was, yes, pretty in pink in LA.  The 'Underworld Awakening' actress did an interview in the rosy pink sheath worn with a swingy ponytail, chandelier earrings and caramel coloured pumps.

Rachel McAdams did a radio show in London for 'The Vow' in a cute LBD that had a leather Peter Pan collar and pleated skirt.  She wore a black coat from  

The Row Fall 2011 line.  Love those Brian Atwood 'Grace' heels with a thin ankle-strap and ruffles (click here for a better look).

Rosie Huntington Whiteley exited a building in Brazil in a super stylish ensemble of a sequined loose shirt worn with leather pants, shades, cap-toe shoes and her blue Birkin.

Jessica Alba appeared at the SiriusXM studio in NYC in a menswear inspired outfit of a white bomber worn with loose fitting black pants.  Not a fan of this outfit on her, and that red belt is annoying.

Kate Beckinsale In Jenny Packham - 'Underworld Awakening' LA Premiere

Kate Beckinsale attended the LA premiere of her new movie 'Underworld Awakening' in a Jenny Packham Spring 2012 dress.

Kate turned all goddess on us in this soft beige chiffon gown which features cap sleeves, gold sequins and a v-neck.  She wore it with her trademark shiny, wavy locks, blushed cheeks, rosy lips and gorgeous Amrapali cuffs.

I like how Kate didn't decide to wear something edgy just because it's the premiere of an action movie.

2012 Golden Globes - Neutrals

Charlize Theron wore a Christian Dior Couture dress that had a plunging front & back, an oversized bow at the waist & thigh-high split.  She wore her hair in a soft, romantic style and sparkled in Cartier jewels.  Also, those white Givenchy sandals are killer.

Heidi Klum kept things very minimal this year, in this peachy  

Calvin Klein Collection number with a a plunging back which she paired with a statement turqouise neck piece by Lorraine Schwartz.  She kept her hair straight and went natural with her make-up.

Mary J. Blige wore a custom Michael Kors dress.  I like the sparkly top and the halter neck, but the feathered train is something I've never particularly liked.  She wore hair in an interesting updo, added geometric chandelier earrings & carried a Jimmy Choo purse.

'Bridesmaids' actress, Kristen Wiig wore a plunge neck Bill Blass dress.  Not loving this colour, I really wish she'd gone for a brighter hue, like a teal or even green as those would have have paired great with her dark locks.  She's wearing Fred Leighton jewelery & Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Kate Beckinsale wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown.  The corsetted, embroidered dress also had a flared hem.  The shape was stunning on Kate although I'm not keen on the pale colour.  She wore it with a high updo, Lorraine Schwartz earrings & stacked cuffs.

Amy Poehler attended the event in a Naeem Khan Spring 2012 dress.  The shimmery, beaded column dress had three-quarter sleeves.  Amy's hair was curled up in a classic do and she wore Van Cleef & Arpel baubles.

Katharine McPhee was the only celeb to shun the full-scale gown for a more contemporary cocktail dress made by Donna Karan.  It's a beautiful dress but just didn't stand ground when compared to all the above dresses.

Kate Beckinsale dressed up in a Donna Karan dress for an appearance on 'David Letterman'.

Kate always goes all out glam at events, so this was no surprise.

The black & gold speckled, one-shoulder sheath had zip-detail running down the the side.

Side parted, curly hair, pink lips and black Christian Louboutin slingbacks finished off her look.

Kate Beckinsale helped Flaunt magazine celebrate its 'Tidal Issue' in a Michael Kors dress.

The sparkly black dress had an asymmetrical draping;  Kate wore it with athick black belt and black Jimmy Choo pumps.

Kate's very good at doing glam looks so this was not a surprise.

Kate Beckinsale announced the nominations for the 2012 Indies wearing a Tadashi Shoji mini.

The white lace dress with baggy sleeves and a drop-waist was a good choice for the event - low key and fairly subtle but the hemline could have been lower.

Kate wore it with trademark wavy tresses, white earrings and nude patent Brian Atwoods.

Kate Beckinsale knocked it out of the park in this cool Gucci Resort 2012 gown.

I love the white against her tan and the gold detail on the gown at the waist.

But what I like the most is that she tried a different hairstyle and the result was lovely!

Elaborate gold earrings, pink lipstick and a gold clutch completed her evening look.
