Salvatore Ferregamo Resort 2013 Presentation

Famous faces gathered together for the Salvatore Ferregamo Resort 2013 presentation at the Louvre Museum in Paris on a rainy evening on June 12th.

All wore dresses from the Salvatore Ferregamo Fall 2012 collection.

Hilary Swank was lovely in a billowy, black dress with gold embroidery which she wore with a sleek ponytail and strappy heels.

Leighton Meester opted for a blood-red top and skirt combination which she matched with her deep red lip colour, finishing the look with an updo and peep-toes.

Freida Pinto was elegant in an embellished LBD with sheer sleeves.  It was worn with a bun, pink lips and satin pumps.

Leighton Meester in Versus - 'That's My Boy' LA Premiere

Leighton Meester walked the red carpet in LA for the premiere of her new movie 'That's My Boy'.

The actress donned a tie-dye effect Versus Fall 2012 dress with strappy shoulder detail. She looked comfortable in the fitted, colourful dress.

Wavy locks, pink lips, a gold bangle and a black clutch made the look interesting.  I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw her wearing these black Jimmy Choo sandals - Leighton and pumps just do not suit each other.

Leighton Meester in Christian Cota - 2012 MTV Movie Awards

Leighton Meester attended the 2012 MTV Movie Awards in a Christian Cota Spring 2012 ensemble.

The sleeveless white jacket with baggy pockets and shorts were worn by her with a graphic print top.  The look was sweet and sharp, at the same time.

I loved the ponytail and coral lip colour but her footwear shocked me.  Leighton is well known for her interesting shoe choices so I was very disappointed to find her wearing suede pumps.

The most important and interesting thing about her was birth, because during her birth time Leighton Meester mother was serving time in a federal prison for her involvement in a drug ring, and after giving birth to her in a hospital and nursing herin a halfway house for 3 months she was again taken to prison to complete her sentence. After that she came under the care of her grandmother. But with all this she maintained that despite of her parents criminal past she had a normal upbringing. She also have a 8years younger brother then her.

She got attention from her character "Blair Waldorf" in "Gossip Girl" which was a CW's teen drama television series. She also faced so many criticisim due to her this act but even this was best for her as she became a renowned and talk of the time a grab a huge attention towards her. Therefore she is also knnow as Leighton Meester Gossip Girl.

During the last year 2011 we saw her in "Monte Carlo" which was a Romantic Comedy and in "The Roommate" which was a thriller. While talking about Leighton Meester 2012 you will see her as a "Christina" in "That's My Boy" previously titled "I Hate You Dad".

Leighton Meester in Marchesa - 2012 Met Ball

Leighton Meester was the second person to wear a Marchesa dress to the Met gala this year (the other being Sofia Vergara - click here).

She looked beautiful in the pale gold, Fall 2012 tulle dress with embroidery and the look was a world away from her usual edgy, fashion-forward looks.

A messy updo, slightly oily make-up and burgundy lips completed the ethereal look.

Leighton Meester in Marchesa - Harry Winston Shanghai Store Opening

Leighton Meester attended the grand opening of the Harry Winston store in Shanghai yesterday.  Ed Westwick was also present.

If you watch 'Gossip Girl' then you'd know why Leighton and Ed were there; in season three of the show, Ed's character planned on proposing to Leighton's character - the ring was from Harry Winston.

Leighton looked charming in a black tulle Marchesa dress which had a lace bodice and cap-sleeves.  She wore it with wavy hair and Christian Louboutin pumps; the finishing touch was a diamond necklace of course.

Leighton Meester In Louis Vuitton - amfAR Gala to Kick Off NYFW

Leighton Meester attended the amfAR gala in a typically edgy dress. 

The Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2012 LBD is hardly your conventional black dress - this one features a plunge neck and fur patches on the thighs.  As happens often with Leighton, this is a love or hate look.  I love the dress. Hate the styling.

The hairstyle is terribly aging, and where has the shoe queen gone?  This outlandish dress required an equally outlandish choice of footwear, not the ankle-strap pumps she's wearing.

Leighton Meester wore a Balmain mini, for the 'Gossip Girl' celebrates 100 episodes party held in NYC.

The white, strapless dress with clasps, a middle panel and asymmetrical hemline looked lovely on Leighton, but seemed a little tight around the bust.

Slightly messy hair, glowing make-up & fabulous Jimmy Choos completed her look.

Leighton continues to be the shoe queen of the red carpet!

Spotted: A fresh faced Leighton Meester, at the Roger Vivier boutique in NYC.

Leighton wore a colourful, printed skirt & top from the  J Mendel Spring 2012 show;  I love the fresh colours and the subtle black hem on the skirt.

She wore the look with minimal make-up, matte red lips, bangles and of course some Roger Vivier heels in black.

She wore a Spring 2012 outfit by Jason Wu.  

I like the chic, sheer blouse & asymmetrical silk skirt and those strappy heels but I wish she'd gone for a soft hairstyle & red lips! 

The make-up is far too dark for the already black outfit.

The Waldorf is Back

Spotted: Leighton Meester, in NYC on the set of "Gossip Girl". Shooting for the fifth season of the show has presumably resumed and the fashion is already exciting!

Leighton was seen in character, wearing a bright yellow Peter Som top tucked into a fruity-print Stella McCartney skirt. She is wearing tangerine hued Brian Atwoods and carrying a matching Riki Rosetta bag. Fabulous (and colourful) summer style at its best.

Leighton Meester was spotted promoting Vera Wang's Lovestruck fragrance, which she is the face of!

She was snapped with the designer herself, Miss Vera Wang!

We absolutely love what our favorite Gossip Girl star is wearing! 

She paired this really cute nude top with some serious leather leggings and matching nude shoes, the perfect choice which you can never go wrong with!

When in London

Spotted: Leighton Meester & Kim Kardashian at their respective fragrance launches in London.

Leighton absolutely glowed in a sheer, sleeve-less mauve blouse worn with leather pants, all by Vera Wang (whose fragrance she is the face of) with matching chunky heels. The soft coloured blouse, wavy hair and neutral make up are the perfect balance to the leather.

Kim went for colour-blocking in a two tone silk Gucci dress from the S/S 2011 collection. The dress is not appropriate for Kim's body type and the cutout is very unattractive too.

2011 MTV Movie Awards

It was an awards weekend! The MTV Movie Awards 2011 took place in LA last night and as usual, lots of members of Young Hollywood were present. Major trends of the night: lots of metallics and bedazzled dresses, prints and textures.

Starting off with the Gossip Girls!

Leighton Meester chose a sparkly, paillette and mirror adorned Balmain dress, wearing it with some trademark fierce heels. It's a different look for her, what with the highlighted (and longer) hair but she looks great.

Blake Lively stood out (not in the best way) in an electric blue Michael Kors sheath and tall purple Louboutins. I'm not digging this minimal approach, it's too stiff for an event like the MTV Movie Awards.


Jessica Szohr went bold with this 70's inspired printed and flared jumpsuit by Alice + Olivia. I'm not particularly liking this look, maybe a shorter length would have looked better but kudos to her for experimenting!

Katie Cassidy chose a crochet-knit dress, it just looks out of place and uncomfortable no?

Kristen Stewart worked that edgy Balmain mini like no other! Love her confident pose, and look, she's smiling!

Selena Gomez's entire look didn't quite work in my opinion. The Giambattista Valli dress is pretty, however, there was nothing youthful or fun about it and she couldn't quite pull it off without looking like she's trying too hard to look grown up.


The two Emma's looked fabulous!

Emma Stone wore a fun lace and tassle Bottega Venneta dress, accessorising it with the label's famous knot clutch in a vibrant colour and matching dusty orange pumps.

Emma Watson looked lovely in a white Marchesa dress with embellished shoulders, she's wearing platinum Brian Atwoods.


Brooklyn Decker donned a glitzy gold No. 21 dress, wearing it with simple black pumps and keeping everything else simple to let the dress do the talking.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley made a fierce statement in a bold animal-print Dolce & Gabbana dress, wearing it with some cool heels. This particular animal-print is hard to pull off but Rosie manages it just fine, perks of being a supermodel I guess.


Reese Witherspoon, who was honoured with a Generation award wore a fitted animal-print dress by Vivienne Westwood, and looked so great!

Cameron Diaz went safe and once again showed off her legs in a black silk Philip Lim romper, adding her favourite Lanvin heels to finish the look.

At The Met Ball!

Eva Mendes wore a pleated dress in a royal blue colour, with a gold belt by Stella McCartney. The colour looks beautiful on her and I love this dress!

Ginnifer Goodwin wore... Topshop! Unbelievable, really but the green dress does look nice on her and I like the splashes of blue and violet in the form of the accessories.
Jennifer Lopez wore a raspberry coloured Gucci dress. The shoulder detail adds drama to the look, appropriate for the event but the dress would've looked nicer without it.

Beyonce worked those famous curves in the tight fitted Pucci dress. It's ornate and dramatic and very, very Beyonce.
Isabel Lucas and Leighton Meester represented Louis Vuitton on the red carpet.

Isabel's pink gown isn't all that exciting but that headwear is full of drama!

Leighton Meester's head to toe black look felt boring, the only interesting aspect being the earrings.

Lea Michelle looked lovely in a taffeta Escada gown in a vibrant colour, and I loved the earrings and clutch! I wish Lea had posed with more confidence, she looks a little confused! It's fair, with this being her first year at the Met Ball and all I guess.

Evan Rachel Wood brought gothic in a deep plum coloured Gucci dress, it's pretty safe and dull.

Renee Zellwegger showed up in her go to label, Carolina Herrera. The nude gown with a back drop fits her like a glove but I'm not loving the crystal beading on the sides - makes the dress look a little costume-ish.

Jennifer Hudson continues her wave of great looks! She wore Vera Wang for the evening and looked lovely!
