Diane Kruger In Derek Lam - 'Farewell, My Queen' Paris Photocall

Diane Kruger attended the photocall of her movie 'Farewell, My Queen' in Paris yesterday.

She wore a Derek Lam Fall 2012 dress for the event that had a black and white paisley print; what really elevated this dress was its embroidered collar though.

A loose bun and Versus Spring 2012 pumps completed her look.

Kirsten Dunst In Derek Lam

Spotted: Kirsten Dunst at the LA Times Young Hollywood Roundtable event in LA.

The lovely actress wore a Spring 2012 Derek Lam leather dress with Chanel shoes.

Unlike the runway model, Kirsten chose to go a little gothic in her approach to make up - smokey eyes, a deep berry lipstick shade and a messy hairstyle.

Black & White

Eva Green worked her trademark gothic style at the premiere of her movie, 'Perfect Sense'.

Her Emilio Pucci dress looked made for her.  Dramatic make-up & Sergio Rossi heels finished off her ensemble.

Picture Perfect.  Belle of the ball.

I don't think I need any more clichéd phrases to describe how Kirsten Dunst was looking at a Bulgari Bash.

Her white Derek Lam gown (fresh off the Spring 2012 show, might I add!) did wonders for the blonde actress and how gorgeous is that clutch!

More from the Met Ball

The party in NYC continued long after we saw the photographs. Here are some more looks from the after party and some from the red carpet.

Models Jessica Stam and Chanel Iman looked fabulous!

Jessica looked like a real-life doll in a blush coloured Tommy Hilfiger dress with an asyymetrical hem. It was a sweet look, from the colour of the dress to the hairstyle but she added some edge with those silver heels.

Chanel Iman wore a white lacy dress by Dolce & Gabbana, very much on trend this summer! She finished off the look with red lipstick and those killer spikey Louboutins.

Alexa Chung represented Britain in a glittery Christopher Kane mini, worn with Prada platforms. The dress is cute but seemed too simple for the event.

Jessica Szohr also wore a Topshop dress; I thought it was an overkill! The shoes were a little unecessary, a simpler heel could have made the dress stand out more.

Michelle Monaghan attended the after party in a full sleeve, candy pink Derek Lam gown. It looks good on Michelle as her hair adds an edge.

Diane Kruger wore Jason Wu later too, but this cocktail dress didn't do it for me. The feathers are simply too overwhelming.

In Monochrome

Black & white never go out of style.

Emma Roberts looked splendid in a 60's inspired look at the "Sucker Punch" premiere. She broke away from the pretty dresses by donning a flower print Razan Alazzouni top, and pairing it with skinny leather pants and black Brian Atwoods.

Emmy Rossum was in in NYC, in a patterned Derek Lam frock - it's easy going and perfect for a low-key do.

Taylor Swift stepped out in London in a three-quarter sleeve white lace Topshop dress, which she wore over a black slip to give it an edge. In true Taylor fashion, she paired the dress with her favourite Ralph Lauren bag and brogues.

Serious Shoes

Leighton Meester was spotted (again!) at a press event for Country Strong. She wore a sweet Derek Lam day dress with some fabulous Miu Miu heels - look how snazzy they are! I love how Leighton always manages to find the most interesting shoes and give special points to her for actually carrying them off! And I wish she would stick to this formula of adding just a little zing to the outfit with one statement piece, instead of pulling a complete wacko ensemble.
