Jessica Chastain is afer all the spanking new Pre-Fall pieces!  Lucky woman.

After wearing a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2012 dress earlier (click here), she wore a Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2012 dress for the National Board of Review Awards Gala in NYC.

I loved all of the dresses from the collection, and this one is no exception.

But Jessica's choice of sandal was a little off (even though they are Roger Viviers).  You know what I'm going to say right? Something sleeker would have been nicer.

For the National Board of Review Awards Gala in NYC, Emma Stone wore a 

J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

The ivory coloured dress has a sequin-laden, patch-work bodice and was worn by Emma with a neat updo, dark lipstick (an unexpected touch) and Louboutin peeptoes.

Felicity Jones worked her charming style once more, this time in a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 frock.

The black silk crepe dress looks stunning on her, and I love the dark romantic hair & make-up.

Keira Knightley In Nina Ricci - 2012 National Board of Review Awards Gala

It felt great to see Keira Knightley for an A-list event after a long while.

The British actress wore a Nina Ricci Resort 2012 dress for the National Board of Review Awards.

 The  black taffeta dress with a lacy bodice was pretty but the head-to-tie black was a bit uninspiring.  A colour break was necessary, in the form of the footwear (she's wearing Roger Vivier sandals) and those tights need to go.  Keira is also carrying a Chanel bag.

It feels so good to not write Rooney Mara & 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' in once sentence... oh wait.  But you know what I mean, right?

Rooney wore a Miu Miu LBD for the National Board of Review Gala in NYC last night.

Yes, it's black, and an LBD... but the YSL shoes are kind of colourful right?

Shailene Woodley wore a L'Wren Scott dress for the National Board of Review Awards event.

I'm not loving this pink, flower embroidered dress on Shailene - it's unnecessarily aging & a little dowdy.

Chloe Moretz In Miu Miu - 2012 National Board of Review Awards Gala

Chloe Moretz wore a dress by Miu Miu for the National Board of Review Awards last night in NYC.

The satin red dress with petal tiers and a high neck looked adorable on the young actress;  I also love her hair accessory, it lends a youthful charm to her look.

A soft updo, and sleek Stuart Weitzman sandals completed her look.
