At the Vivienne Westwood store launch held in LA, Heidi Klum wore a black dress from the designer's Anglomania collection with no jewelery and slicked back hair - I like.

Zoe Saldana too wore a shorter silver dress from the line, and paired it with colourful heels in true Saldana fashion!

At the premieres/screenings of her new movie, "Source Code" in which she stars with Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan wore two different dresses. First, a fitted Little White Dress from Versace with pointy nude kitten heels. I like the clean look but wish her hair didn't look so ratty. This look called for a an updo to show off the neckline.

She nailed the second look though, in a wacky yet gorgeous (LOVE the colour) Roksanda Illicinic dress, which she wore with black criss-coss sky-high sandals.

Cameron Diaz looked pretty great at a photocall for her upcoming movie, "Bad Teacher" at CinemaCon. She donned a black Alexander McQueen mini, topping it with a neutral Elizabeth & James blazer and adding a belt by McQueen too. She wore Lanvin heels.

Eva Longoria, at the International Film Festival, held in Mexico wore a pantsuit, with a Julien McDonald blazer and black peeptoes. It's a nice, sharp look but I'm not a big fan of the jacket - the shoulder pads are a bit too much.

Nicky Hilton, spotted at an event in LA wore a scalloped lace white mini with patent nude heels - flawless.

Vanessa Hudgens landed in the worst dressed of the week for me, in this snakeskin monstrosity of an outfit. Nothing about this look works, the dress, the headpiece, not even the seemingly safe black heels!

At the premiere of her first movie, "Soul Surfer", Carrie Underwood wore a nude & black Zuhair Murad dress. It's a little too close to the tone of her skin and the big flower at her hip is so distracting!

Keira Knightley, at the Empire Awards in London wore a sparkly nude dress by Rodarte. I'm not liking this dress much, the design's boring and the way she's done her hair isn't working. Neither are those stark black pumps.

I'm really liking Kim K's casual/semi-casual style of late. She knows what looks good on her and her looks are always so well co-ordinated in terms of accessories! She wore this black & white ensemble while dining out in LA. The waist-cinching belt matches her clutch & nude Louboutins! Everything lies in the detail.

Kristen Bell talked at the Alzheimer's Association benefit event wearing a bedazzled sheath by Sea with rosey metallic Brian Atwoods. It's perhaps a little too glitzy for a charity event but there's no denying that she looks great.

Nicky Hilton was at a brand's do wearing a very Nicole Richie-esque ensemble! The kimono top, long gold necklace, high heels... no complains though. Nicky's make up is fresh and clean and that makes this look work.

Alexa Chung, at a GQ magazine event looked pretty great in burgundy jeans, a polka-dot top, a long blazer and the Chanel quilted purse.

At the John Varvatos Stuart House event in LA, Jayma Mays looked cute in a day look. She paired a white v-neck, sleeveless tank with a tan calf-length skirt. The straw bag is a nice relaxed touch and the black bow matches perfectly with her black flats!

Zoe Saldana too attended the event in a casual jeans look. The leather jacket is soft-looking and those leopard print heels add some pizzazz.

Jessica Alba went all edgy at an event in head-to-toe Proenza Schouler. It's all crazy but it's Proenza!

Malin Akerman was at a Rag & Bone opening wearing a white dress by the brand with edgy heels - it's minimal yet edgy.

Casual done right... and not so right

Various sightings of celebs doing casual. Let's begin with the not so right - Miley Cyrus. And I'm not criticising her appearance because of my general dislike for her. But the look can only be described as messy. The accessories aren't too bad, neither is the bag but the cowboy boots, short shorts and the unsightly hair are contributing towards the messiness. Soz, Miley. Moving on, now the good news! Emmy Rossum wore her casual winter getup at a semi-formal event, which isn't so appropriate but loving the look otherwise, cool and simple. Nicky Hilton, and actress Isabel Lucas looked lovely in their flowy summer dresses (weather envy). Nicky's boho look was top notch while I like the easy-breeziness of Isabel's white dress, the billowy sleeves are very cute.
