Vanessa Hudgens in Temperley London - 2012 Monaco Grand Prix

Last week, Vanessa Hudgens was at the Monaco Grand Prix.

For a race, she donned a pink and black, floral dress with a halter neck from the Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 collection.  The dress was shown in a typical, refined Temperley manner on the model but Vanessa wore it with her laid-back style.

A rough top-knot and black sandals completed her look.  This dress just feels odd on Vanessa because of the way she has worn it, it was more evening appropriate.

Vanessa Hudgens ditched her boho attire for this Tibi Resort 2012 dress at the Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party.

I hope Vanessa has turned a new chapter because this clean, minimalist Tibi dress is wonderful on her.

She added some punchy gold accessories which look great with the vibrant orange colour.

Vanessa Hudgens turned glamourous for an the Parisian premiere of her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.

She wore a strapless Moschino dress.  The ivory jaquard dress with a bow on the waist is a nice change up however, the nude panty-hose is just distracting me from it. Also, her face - it's a completely different tone.

Wavy hair, red lips and gold pumps completed the look

Vanessa Hudgens walked the brown carpet for the LA premiere of her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'. She opted for a Maria Lucia Hohan gown.

There have been quite a few sightings of Maria Lucia Hohan gowns on the red carpet recently (click here, and here).  The buttercup yellow shade is lovely on Vanessa, but somehow she always looks overwhelmed in full-length gowns.

Messy, wavy locks, and gold bangles completed her look.  I'm so thankful she left out the red lipstick seeing as the yellow dress + red lipstick combination has been quite popular lately.

After travelling through Australia (and making questionable sartorial choices - click here), and Mexico, Vanessa Hudgens was back in LA for promotions for her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.

Vanessa wore a white Pamela Rolland Spring 2012 dress.  The strapless dress has an iridescent bodice and a draped tulip skirt.

 This is a major improvement from her previous premiere outfit. See what a difference the right dress, a fresh colour, (relatively) clean make-up  and brushed hair can make?

Vanessa Minnillo wore a lacy black dress by Love Serpent, the red version of which we saw on Miranda Kerr in 2011 (click here).  It's a pretty dress and she wore it well.

Vanessa Hudgens is still in Australia, promoting her movie 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'.  She wore a cute, printed dress by Bec & Bridge for a photocall near the beach.  I'm giving the shades and the gladiator sandals a miss though.

Elizabeth Banks is currently stuck in an all black phase.  She did an interview in NYC this week wearing a brocade Andrew Gn Spring 2012 coat which she wore it with tights, Tabitha Simmons ankle-boots, and a rather random red Prada bag.

She attended the premiere of 'Haywire' in a Theyskens' Theory fringe dress, topped with a strong shouldered jacket and gold accessories.

 Kate Beckinsale was, yes, pretty in pink in LA.  The 'Underworld Awakening' actress did an interview in the rosy pink sheath worn with a swingy ponytail, chandelier earrings and caramel coloured pumps.

Rachel McAdams did a radio show in London for 'The Vow' in a cute LBD that had a leather Peter Pan collar and pleated skirt.  She wore a black coat from  

The Row Fall 2011 line.  Love those Brian Atwood 'Grace' heels with a thin ankle-strap and ruffles (click here for a better look).

Rosie Huntington Whiteley exited a building in Brazil in a super stylish ensemble of a sequined loose shirt worn with leather pants, shades, cap-toe shoes and her blue Birkin.

Jessica Alba appeared at the SiriusXM studio in NYC in a menswear inspired outfit of a white bomber worn with loose fitting black pants.  Not a fan of this outfit on her, and that red belt is annoying.

Vanessa Hudgens attended the Sydney premiere of her new movie in an 

Amanda Wakeley dress.

Needless to say, it doesn't work.  The fit is loose, and messy looking.  The silver chain detail around the v-neck is totally unnecessary & her black bra is visible... seriously?

A messy hairdo and a mismatched snakeskin clutch completed the look.

Zoe Saldana totally worked the short-suit trend on the red carpet, for the premiere of the movie "Captain America: The First Avenger".

Her Balmain suit that she wore with a v-neck, is fun and summery and so are those studded Brian Atwoods!

Vanessa Hudgens debuted a short crop, which in her own words makes her look like a "soccer mom".

She tried to look glam by putting on a low-cut, sparkly tunic by Farah Khan but those suede Guiseppe Zanotti heels killed the look for me.

Cannes Parties

Model Bar Refaeli rocked navy Roberto Cavalli dresses, first at the Chopard bash and then on the red carpet.

Zoe Saldana wore a cute printed Vionnet dress at an after-party. It sure is a fun look but the dress seems to swamp the slim actress, maybe a knee-length would have worked better.


Vanessa Hudgens was seemingly everywhere at this year's festival and wore an array of different outfits.

The pale Fendi one-shoulder dress is nice but the pale green ribbon on the shoulder is a bit random and distracting.

The second look fared better even though the hair isn't looking too good.

Cannes Day 2

The premiere of "Sleeping Beauty" & "Restless" took place on day two of the Cannes Film Festival and the red carpet turnout was splendid.

I was wondering whether Diane Kruger had been invited this year, and was fervently hoping that she was. Thank the fashion gods, she was invited and as always did not disappoint. The shimmery Calvin Klein gown almost looks like liquid gold! Love the red lip and messy hair do too.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan worked that Armani Privé gown like no one's business! She wore a geometric cuff and wore her hair in a high top knot.

Rachel McAdams got bored of those elaborate red carpet gowns and went for this gold/tan Monique Lhuillier outfit consisting of an embellished bustier top and high waisted bottoms. Opinions may be divided on this look but I'm going for a like!

Alexa Chung wore a structured white dress with black heels, it's a pretty simple look... a little too simple actually.

Mia Wasikowska wore a deep red Roland Mouret dress with dangly diamond earrings - a clean, simple look again but I wish she'd have some fun considering her age, this look is too rigid.

Vanessa Hudgens surprised me by turning up at a Calvin Klein party. She looked good in a lime green asymmetric dress with white heels from the label; the colour pops against her skin and I'm glad she left her "messy" look at home.


Aishwarya Rai attended a photocall for a recently announced movie, called "Heroine" in a great day look! She wore a tan trench dress from Lanvin with black heels from the label.
