Karolina Kurkova in Vionnet - 2012 Rosenball Charity Event

Karolina Kurkova joined her husband Archie Dury at the 2012 Rosenball charity event in Berlin, Germany on June 9th.

She looked glamorous as always, in a blush Vionnet dress with draping and crystal embellishments.  It was worn with an updo and dark red lips, diamond earrings and a metallic clutch.

Fashion Roundup

So, apparently Hilary Swank also turned up at the IIFA Awards in Toronto, Canada. She wore a textured, raspberry coloured Elie Saab gown - it's a great colour, and she looked fantastic.

Kerry Washington was at the BET Awards, in a lime-green, key-hole Michael Kors dress. I liked everything until I saw her basic black Louboutins, so very dull! I wish she'd worn something fabulous to keep in tune with the bold dress.

Anne Hathaway looked so very pretty at an event in the UK, in a multi-colour Prada dress - always the belle of the ball.

Diane Kruger's Vionnet lace dress didn't work for me, neither did the pantyhose; I like that bright clutch though.

Jennifer Aniston was spotted in NYC in a sleek grey dress that reminded me of her Rachel Green days! Oh, and I'm loving those Michael Kors heels.

Cameron Diaz... not showing her legs?! I guess she must have read my blog, imploring her to wear pants because she did just that on a TV appearance and looked just as great!

Heidi Klum was seen in the Hamptons, wearing a sequin, Monique Lhuillier dress with matching heels and earrings - it's a sleek, stylish look from her.

Selena Gomez wore a dress in a gorgeous purple shade but those shoes made the look so dull; she should take tips from her "Monte Carlo" co-star Leighton Meester on interesting and fabulous footwear.

Cannes Parties

Model Bar Refaeli rocked navy Roberto Cavalli dresses, first at the Chopard bash and then on the red carpet.

Zoe Saldana wore a cute printed Vionnet dress at an after-party. It sure is a fun look but the dress seems to swamp the slim actress, maybe a knee-length would have worked better.

Vanessa Hudgens was seemingly everywhere at this year's festival and wore an array of different outfits.

The pale Fendi one-shoulder dress is nice but the pale green ribbon on the shoulder is a bit random and distracting.

The second look fared better even though the hair isn't looking too good

Gwyneth's Week

Gwyneth Paltrow had quite the week, fashion wise. She's also out to promote her new book, "My Father's Daughter".

She started off the week, appearing in the nude full-sleeved dress at the Good Housekeeping do (see below post) of which I was not a fan.

In NYC, Vionnet was the label of choice for her, with this turtle-neck violet dress that she wore with some interesting heels.

She went for a casual look at another signing, sprucing up the otherwise staid outfit with leather capris and black flats; her jacket is by The Row.

She reverted back to the neutrals later on. I like the LWD and those suede cutout heels, it's a fresh spring look.

Her later choice consisted of a mauve coloured dress, topped with an oversize satin blazer, both by Alexander Wang - I like her Sergio Rossi tan heels here.

The Social Network

The awards season has begun in full swing people, there's no escaping. Last night, a lot of my favourite actors were present at the Palm Springs Awards, sponsored by Cartier in Palm Springs, California. A lot of The Social Network stars were also present! (Love that movie.)
Natalie Portman, who received the Achievement Actress award & who's now fully sporting that pregnancy glow, wore a full-sleeved black and white dress with gold accents that covered her baby bump perfectly and tied her hair back into a chic bun. Carey Mulligan looked lovely in a metallic Prada dress with a full skirt and plain black YSL pumps. Amy Adams wore a teal coloured, one-shoulder cocktail dress with metallic heels too; I'm not liking the hairstyle one bit, it doesn't suit her and it's so dated!

*Update - Natalie Portman is wearing a Vionnet dress and Christian Dior heels.

Rashida Jones kept it simple in a printed blouse and black skirt, she wore black sandals and added colour through her red lipstick. Brenda Song wore a glitzy black mini with black Louboutins.

Here's a picture of The Social Network cast together backstage! L-R: Andrew Garfield, Brenda Song, Arnie Hammer, Rashida Jones, Josh Pence, Rooney Mara & Jesse Eisenberg

People's Choice Awards - Hits

So here are the good lookin' people with the good lookin' fashion. Natalie Portman (pictured with Ashton Kutcher) looked radiant in a ruffle-layer dark blue Jason Wu number. Her hair looked pretty and I loved her drop crystal earrings. Emma Roberts too wore a strapless ruffled Dior LBD, with rose satin Brian Atwood pumps and pale pink drop earrings! Simple, yet elegant.

Selena Gomez wore a pale Paul Ka number with Guiseppe Zanotti peeptoes and Taylor Swift wore a similar coloured J Mendel dress with Prada heels and Neil Lane jewels.

Kim Kardashian looked quite nice! (That's supposed to be a surprise tone.) She was wearing a Malandrino dress which she paired with nude peeptoes. I quite liked her hairstyle too, it's a change from her usual style. Minka Kelly & Leighton Meester (co-stars in new suspense flick "The Roommate") looked so great! I especially love how Leighton played with colour - from those gorgeous coral earrings to the smashing Vionnet dress. Both wore Brian Atwood heels and Minka was carrying a Bottega Venneta knot clutch.

*Update - Minka Kelly's wearing a Vivienne Westwood dress.

Deathly Hallows Style

Unless you've been hiding under some sort of magic blanket, you would've known that the new Harry Potter flick comes out pretty soon (it's based on the seventh book but has been split into two movies). So all the stars gathered in London last week for the movie's British premiere. Centre of attention was Emma Watson, as always, and she certainly didn't disappoint. Emma was decked in a short, lacy Rafael Lopez for Atelier Mayer feathered minidress and wore matching Charlotte Olympia heels. Outfit aside, how much does Emma rock her new pixie hair-do?! The answer would be, very much indeed. Her co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint also smartened up in sharp suits, but lets be serious, is anyone even looking at them when Emma's in the same picture? Moving on, supporting actors, Bonnie Wright, who plays Potter's love interest looked lovely in a plain black ensemble, but a little boring! Clemence Poesy, who plays Fleur Delacour represented Chanel in her elegant navy dress and Katie Leung, who was Harry'e ex Cho Chang also looked pretty in an olive hued dress, she paired it with black tights and a dark lip colour. At another event earlier, Emma wore a navy one-shouldered Vionnet dress which she accessorised perfectly with some edgy earrings and necklace - fabulous! All in all, Emma has once again shown the world what a fashion maven she really is!

Glam Team

Spotted, Jessica Biel looking gorgeous at the Spanish premiere of her new movie, co-starring Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson, The A-Team. Have to say, I adored this look on Jessica, the dress looks soft and feminine without looking messy. A little bit of colour wouldn't have gone amiss but it's okay, because her hair and make-up pretty much make it up for that. Absolutely love the hair! Two-toned without looking odd, well done. It's not a Lanvin creation, but a Vionnet one and the black pumps are Sergio Rossi's.
