Jessica Stam in Chloé - Claiborne Swanson Frank's 'American Beauty' Book Launch

Supermodel Jessica Stam attended the launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank's 'American Beauty' in NYC on Thursday.

The newly dark haired model wore a coral striped dress from the Chloé Spring 2012 collection with pleats.

The dress looks like it has a drop-waist on Arizona Muse on the runway but Jessica belted it at the waist and accessorised with an Edie Parker clutch & cream coloured Tod's wedges.

Kirsten Dunst In Dolce & Gabbana - 2012 Independent Spirit Awards

Kristen Dunst attended the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards in basic separates.

The 'Melancholia' actress paired a Dolce & Gabbana mini that had a sweetheart neckline with a sharp white Chloé blazer.

The fun accessories really uplifted this look: I'm referring to the bright Chloé clutch & the daisy-print Dolce & Gabbana sandals.

Elizabeth Olsen In Chloé - 2012 Independent Spirit Awards Luncheon

Elizabeth Olsen attended the Independent Spirit Awards luncheon, held in LA in a shirtdress & blazer from the Chloé Spring 2012 collection.

She wore the look with a loos side bun, layered necklaces, a handbag from The Row and nude pointy pumps.

It amazes me how well Elizabeth transitions from a Proenza Schouler look from the night before (click here) to this airy, light ensemble.

Nicole Richie In Chloé - 2012 Winter TCA Tour

Nicole Richie talked more about her upcoming competition show called 'Fashion Star' in which she'll act as a mentor to designers, at the annual Winter TCA Convention.

The designer wore a glowing Chloé dress with vibrant blue Miu Miu pumps.  I love the entire look.

Chic Casual Style

A chic casual dressing style is one that takes years to master (sometimes days if you can afford a personal stylist).

These are some recent casual celebrity looks which I love.

Olivia Palermo - her first outfit was an instant hit with me.  Light, flared jeans are hard to wear right in the winter months but Olivia styled them perfectly with a burgundy peacoat, animal-print scarf & a divine Valentino handbag.

In the second one, she wears a navy coloured dress with matching boots (!), all topped off with a fur-collar coat.

Miranda Kerr managed to look chic in a colourful mohair cardigan - quite the feat.  The model wore it with a simple v-neck white tee, faded jeans & suede ankle boots.

Blake Lively was spotted strolling around Boston in Diesel jeans, tough looking boots, a moto jacket, an oversized, tribal-print scarf & a Givenchy bag.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley wore a striped sweater, with an oversized, animal-print scarf, jeans & gorgeous, embellished Chanel boots.

Kate Bosworth did some shopping in LA, wearing a rustic, orange striped top by Proenza Schouler with black jeans and edgy black Chloé boots.

Airport Style: Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham was spotted at LAX with the adorable baby Harper, jetting to London for the British Fashion Awards, to be held tonight.

The Red Carpet Award nominated designer wore a chic sleeveless blouse with a peter pan collar, paired with a knee-length white skirt.

Accessories included a Chloé clad Harper, large sunnies and her favourite suede Louboutin boots.

Kirsten Dunst In Chloé

Kirsten Dunst kept things cute and feminine, while making an appearance on Good Morning America.

She wore a sleeveless, floral print sheath by Chloé along with Chanel cap-toe heels.

Outside the studio, Kirsten put on a tomato-coloured coat and carried a textured Chanel chain-strap bag.

Loving the bright lip colour.

A Black Night

Black was the colour of choice for both Jennifer Aniston (hardly surprising) and Kirsten Dunst last night.

Jennifer, at a promotional event for her directorial effort 'Five' went for a semi-casual look.  I like the jeans and the boots but would have preferred it if she had gone for a sleek blouse instead of a blazer and tee.

Kirsten chose a halter-neck gown by Chloé for an event for her movie 'Meloncholia'.  Kirsten's one of those ladies who stands out despite wearing black.  A simple updo, dark eye make up and pink lips added interest to her look.

Teen Choice Awards 2011

This year's red carpet turnout for the Teen Choice Awards really impressed me (bar one or two looks)!

Nina Dobrev had the most improved look - the nautical Dolce & Gabbana dress had a great silhouette and looked fresh. She's still struggling a little in the shoe department - I would have preferred to see some coloured sandals instead of those plain navy Ferregamo pumps.

Taylor Swift also wore a similar shaped dress - hers a white satin Rafael Cennamo. She added colour to her simple look via the blue eye shadow and pink lips.

Zooey Deschanel won my award for the worst dressed of the night thanks to her unflattering and drab Miu Miu dress which she wore with those unsightly black heels.

Zoe Saldana didn't win many points in the style stakes either - I'm not a fan of her metallic Lanvin dress or those gold Mary Janes.

Demi Lovato glowed (literally) in a sunny BCBG Max Azria mini that had a train and lace panelling. I would have liked the look if it weren't for her overwhelming tan, hair and matching peeptoes.

Selena Gomez also wore a dress with a train, her gold Erin by Erin Featherstone dress looked great, especially with that purple coloured clutch, gold earrings and interesting shoes.

Ashley Greene kept things minimal in a monochromatic Givenchy number which she wore with strappy sandals and straight locks.

Nikki Reed's ethnic maxi by Etro was a winning look on her - the black clutch and gold cuff added to it.

Cameron Diaz showed off her legs (surprise) and arms in a tan mini; I love her colourful heels though.

Rachel Bilson added edge to her soft Chloe frock with the studded Brian Atwood heels. It's a nice enough look but I would have liked to see some colour on her.

Emma Stone went with colour block with her white, and brown coloured Christian Dior dress - I love how her hair matches with the shades on her dress but I think that a neutral statement necklace would have made the look more interesting.

Blake Lively was like a ray of sunshine in her tangerine Gucci sheath. Her gold accessories looked fabulous, as did those animal-print pumps.

Toning It Down

Apparently, Rosie Huntington Whiteley is still premiering the "Transformers" movie!

So it's no wonder she toned it down in Osaka, Japan.

At the conference, she wore a leather LBD by Marios Schwab with a lace trim, finishing the look off with black pumps.

It was a simple pale Chloé dress for her at the premiere too, but I hate the upper part of this dress, it's very unflattering.

No Meloncholia Here

Spotted: Kirsten Dunst looking fabulous at the photocall and premiere of her new movie, "Meloncholia".

At the photocall, she wore a canary yellow
drapey chiffon dress by Chloé with nude heels - the red lipstick really makes this look stand out.

It was a Ro
darte gown for her on the red carpet and I love the whole look, the diamond earrings literally make the look sparkle and I like the shape of the gown too.

Fashion Roundup

Starting off with black, red and white! Both Olivia Palermo and Blake Lively chose to wear this trio of colours at their appearances.

Olivia wore a textured Giambattista Valli dress at a movie screening with lace up Jimmy Choo heels. I'm not too fond of this dress but as usual, Olivia makes it work (not sure what's the deal with the hairstyle though).

Blake Lively wore a couture outfit by French label, Carven at a WonderCon event. It's a little too pouffy and I'm not liking Blake's make up a lot either.

At the NYC premiere of the movie "Arthur", Jennifer Garner wore a sparkly grey skirt with a grey top, all by Oscar de la Renta. It's a nice outfit but I wish she'd chosen different shoes instead of those chunky black Casadeis.

Diane Kruger was spotted in Athens in this plaid romper which she paired with some ballet flats with ankle-strap by Chloé. It's a relaxed look, perfect for the Mediterranean.

Uma Thurman, seen at the premiere of her movie, "Ceremony" wore head to toe Lanvin. Those are separates which is quite interesting but I have a deep-seated dislike for ruched clothing, it's just so unflattering!

The lovely Penelope Cruz celebrated her induction on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in a lacey purple sheath by L'Wren Scott which she wore with simple black Louboutins and straight hair.

At the Nickelodean Kid's Choice Awards, Heidi Klum walked the orange carpet in an LBD by Gucci, adding some fierceness via the heels. It's a simple and covered up look - appropriate for a kids event.

Selena Gomez also turned up, in a cool white ensemble by Christian Cota. She looks lovely and I'm loving those bright blue heels!

Of Black & White

A lot of movie events saw a slew of black and white dresses at the weekend. And it goes to show once again, that you can never go wrong with a Little Black Dress.

Amy Adams wore a long sleeved, bejeweled dress with black peeptoes, this design with the power shoulders would have been boring on someone like Kim Kardashian but on Amy it was a welcome surprise. Mandy Moore was in London, for the premiere of the animated flick
"Tangled" - she wore a simple strapless LBD but punched up the look with an ornate necklace and bright red satin Charlotte Olympia pumps.

*Up
date - Mandy Moore's dress is from Paul Ka, Amy is in Andrew Gn.

Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly were at the NYC premiere of their movie "The Roommate". And Leighton totally rocked this dramatic gown with the leather top & cutouts by Michael Kors, love everything about her look. Co-star Minka Kelly went opposite, by wearing a soft, pale hued dress and adding beige heels to complete the look; lovin' her fishtail braid too.

PS. Anyone notice
d how similar Minka & Leighton look?! Could be twins. Just sayin'.

Kate Bosworth wore a surprisingly similar dress as Leighton at the ongoing Sundance Film Festival in cold Utah. The dress is by Chloé and her shoes are by Isabel Marant, sure the tights would normally look unecessary with this dress but I can't blame Kate for wearing them! It's always freeeezing at Sundance so she just came prepared! The lovely Emily Blunt was in Hollywood for her new film, called "Gnomeo & Juliet" (animation movie). She looked very elegant in a white Zac Posen number, worn with nude peeptoes.

Fashion Roundup

Starting off is Lea Michele, who looked absolutely great in a Zac Posen design with a swingy, full skirt and stripey peeptoes. Blake Lively wore a shimmery beige Prabal Gurung dress with a metallic jacket and dark beige shoes - she has redeemed her style status! Emily Deschanel looked lovely in a lace blend nude coloured BCBG Max Azaria dress with an asymmetric hemline, I'm totally loving this dress.

Zoe Sal
dana's grey leather J Mendel number with suede Brian Atwood peeptoes was a winner; Jennifer Garner wore a raspberry hued Roland Mouret sheath with black Louboutins - I wish she'd played a bit with her hair though, it looks a little limp as it is. Lake Bell made a simple Etro LBD look interesting by adding an embellished belt and some two-tone booties.

Jennifer Lopez' nu
de leather frock by Chloé was rather smashing and I loved how she paired it with some leopard print booties by Brian Atwood... now if she could not pout like that in every single photo! A smile would sufficient! Michelle Williams wore Oscar de la Renta and rocked it. Moving on to Rachel McAdams - I liked the bottom part of the dress, the tulip shaped skirt, however, I'm not quite liking the ruched upper part. Her black Michael Kors platforms are fierce though.
