Nina Dobrev In Elie Saab - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Nina Dobrev was hands down, my favourite at the People's Choice Awards, held in LA last night.

'The Vampire Diaries' actress, who won the award for the Favourite TV Drama Actress wore a dress befitting the honour.

The kelly green dress with lacy shoulders and sleeves from the Elie Saab Spring 2012 was gorgeous on her, especially with her striking dark, long hair.

Elie Saab heels, and a round clutch completed her look.

Emma Stone In Gucci - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Emma Stone skipped the dress routine for the PCAs.

She wore a Gucci Spring 2012 ensemble of a white shirt, an emerald green blazer with black lapels, black pants and heels by Gucci.

For the first time...ever, I think, I'm not loving something on Emma.  The look is really sharp and snazzy on the runway but that isn't translating across the red carpet.

Her hair could also use some brushing and a cool updo would have uplifted the look.

Lea Michele In Marchesa - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Lea Michele donned a Marchesa Spring 2012 dress for the PCAs, where she won the Favourite TV Comedy Actress award.

The white tassel dress is fussy but I think Lea wears it well and how gorgeous is that lip colour?! (Lancome Paris, I believe).

  She kept her hair on the side, carried a gold Marchesa clutch and wore Jimmy Choo ankle-strap heels.

Jennifer Lawrence In Viktor & Rolf - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Jennifer Lawrence is already getting into the fierce-red-carpet-look mode (her 'Hunger Games' comes out in March).

She wore a Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 dress that has a mesh underlay and cobalt blue satin swirls.

Jennifer wore it with a slicked back ponytail, smokey eyes, edgy earrings, light liptick and Sergio Rossi heels.

Miley Cyrus In David Koma - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus wore a David Koma Spring 2012 dress to the People's Choice Awards.

I'm really glad she ditched the plunge-neck gown for this event.  This white dress is fun and playful, especially with the colourful side detail.

Miley wore it a side-swept hairstyle, ruby red Jimmy Choo pumps & a Marchesa python-skin clutch.

Ashley Greene In DKNY - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Ashley Greene wore DKNY of course.

The custom leather & lace LBD was cute and I think hers was the only black dress! But the high neck feels a little suffocating no?

Also, Ashley should have worn her hair in a slicked back ponytail to show off the shoulders of the dress.

Cobie Smulders, of 'How I Met Your Mother' wore a Reem Acra dress for the People's Choice Awards.

The strapless cobalt blue dress is simple but Cobie accessorised it with a striking neck piece by Etro, gold cuffs, Rebecca Minkoff sandals & a Jimmy Choo clutch.

Ginnifer Goodwin rocked a Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 dress at the PCAs.

The neon pink shift with full, flared sleeves was worn by Ginnifer with some eye-catching blue earrings and Jimmy Choo heels.  I just want to pull out the earrings, they don't go with that dress at all.

I wish she'd grow out her hair now.

Kelly Osbourne wore an Honor dress for the PCAs.

The colour block dress with cap sleeves is nice on her, but I simply can't get past that awkward hair colour.  I keep staring at it to figure out whether it's grey, mousey brown or a pale lavender.

Demi Lovato In Issa - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Demi Lovato changed into an Issa dress for a performance at the People's Choice Awards this year.

The asymmetrical red dress has a halter neck & lace lining.  It looks good on her but I'd tone down the make-up more, and swap the red lips for a neutral hue; another thing: those matching shoes. 

I hate how Demi always comes this close to looking perfect but misses it, usually because of the make-up.

She wore it with Stuart Weitzman slingbacks, of which I'm not a particular fan (with that dress).

Vanessa Hudgens In Jenny Packham - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Vanessa Hudgens wore a Jenny Packham Fall 2011 dress at this year's PCAs.

While on the runway, the gown looks elegant and slinky, all that is lost on Vanessa.  Her heavy make-up and those long gold earrings are making the look visually crowded.

 An updo, smokey eyes, chunky Casadei pumps & a Judith Leiber clutch complete the look.

Kaley Cuoco In Badgley Mischka - 2012 People's Choice Awards

Kaley Cuoco, who hosted the evening's proceedings, walked the red carpet in a 

Badgley Mischka Spring 2012 gown.

The ivory gown with sheer straps and micro flower adornments was stunning on 'The Big Bang Theory' actress.  She wore it sans the metallic waist belt, which I think worked in her favour.

Kaley wore her blow-dried hair in a volumnous style, sported a smokey eye and a glossy, neutral lip shade.
